Chapter: Christmas With The Order

Here I was expecting a nice little Christmas story, and you give us a missing moment of DH, complete with Christmas Spirit, angst, and action.
Wow! It was great! From the first word, I was sucked right in to your story. I loved that the passwords and security questions were so much in character for each person.
Having Bill want to growl over his steak was a perfect addition, and something I actually have been expecting from a lot more authors.
The shared cup and toast was nice. With Bill talking about Harry, Ron and Hermione being out there, knowing Ron was upstairs was a little funny in the midst of the poignant moment. Good job!
The memories of the three lost was excellently written. As you probably already know, I love Sirius, and your comments about him were wonderful.
Kingsley’s appearance was a good explanation of his almost snatching, and Remus taking charge was so like him. The descriptions Kingsley gave were great. But to think he was that close to Harry and Hermione and couldn’t help them was a great addition.
Excellent job, and good luck on the Challenge! I look forward to putting it in the winners category in the Library.
I enjoyed this immensely and will be back to read your other soon. Until then though, keep up the great work!

Author's Response: Thank you * ∞!!! I love Remus and Sirius too! That's why they both had the spotlight on them. And I couldn't live with myself without doing paying that mangy dog his due and proper. And the way I saw it, when Kingsley burst in, Ron was peeking down the stairway, and after everyone left, he was fretting in his room when he heard the Deluminator. Hee hee, it's so fun to work into the story rather than around it. I'm so glad you liked it! Again, thanks.
