I really, really enjoyed this story. After such a wonderful beginning, I was really worried when I came to the three-year interval--I thought you were going to skip the climax of the story like some authors do. But you more than followed through! All your portrayals of the characters were wonderful (won't lie, I've always hated Ron, and I loved the way you put him in his place). :) I couldn't help but go back and re-read the last few chapters, I enjoyed them so much. I did think that the references to "For Whom the Bell Tolls" were slightly over the top, especially for a story that ends so happily. You're a strong writer--you don't need to rely on Hemingway to insert extra meaning to your story! Overall, though, a resounding "well done!" I loved the bits about the licorice tea, Snapes partially-buttoned trousers, Hermione being compared to Snape when she's in management, etc., etc., etc. One of the best SS/HG stories I've read--and believe me, I've read quite a few.
