Loved it. You really introduced the characters well but left people hanging, crying out for more. Love the scandal. ; )

Quite liking Nicole, she seems easy going. Was hoping for either Lupin or Tonks but heres hoping that they pop up sometime. *hinthint* hehe

Great first chapter, can't wait for the rest.

Oh, an excellent start, Leah! I like the way you've reintroduced the characters that are already known to us I'm also intrigued by your OC. She is very interesting; you've introduced her well, but left enough for the reader to want more.

The bit about the founders is tantalizing. Rowena had children out of wedlock...with Salazar! Oh, how scandalous! ;)

You have a great first chapter! The plot is very interesting, and I am eager to keep reading. Your characterizations are good, especially Hermione's. It seems like people have a hard time writing her, but you did an excellent job.

I can't wait to learn more about Niobe; she seems like an exciting character. I was hoping Lupin would come back, but I think I'll like her just as much as I love Lupin. =)

I love the idea of the hand-fastening marks. That's very cool and original. I'll have to watch out for the next chapter! Wonderful job, Leah!
