Author's Response: Sorry for the delay. I threw my back out last week and it is still painful to sit for anything other than very short periods at the computer. Fortunately, my arms still work and I have been writing in long hand. Just need to get it all onto the computer though. Also, I realized the next chapter would be waaaaaaay too long, so have split the next into two different chapters. Not much longer I hope! Thanks for your patience. cj

Wow! I definitely wasn't expecting that ending. But, I guess I can see Ginny's side of the story too. I probably would have felt the same way if I thought that my boyfriend was keeping something from me, especially after everything Harry and Ginny have been through. I know that even now, I get upset when my husband doesn't share something with me. :) Anyway, I loved the chapter and can't wait to read more! Update soon! :)
Author's Response: I'm pleased I surprised you with the ending. Ginny's at the end of her rope, I think. She is extremely sensitive about anyone treating her like a child and is the one thing she's immature about. Harry, unfortunately, (for reasons that will be apparent in upcoming chapters) has been inadvertently treating her in such a way. They'll work it out. She's just got the wrong end of the stick as to why he excluded her from the battle the year before and why he's keeping things from her now. I'm so glad you're enjoying the story. i also agree with the reviewer who liked the scene between harry and mrs. weasley. shes the mum he never had and always hoped for. he is the best son in law the weasleys could ask for. being friends with his parents too, i think give the weasleys even more desire to care for young harry. it also doesnt hurt how often harry has come to their aid, its rather symbiotic, really!
it was extremely well written and had such honesty. harry is afraid to treat her too much like a mother as his whole life hes been rejected by his so called family and hes afraid too because everyone he loves has been taken away. molly however has an abundance of love that you can tell having seven children hasnt even come near to putting a dent in her well of love. she has plenty to go around. she and mr weasley are good examples of what real parents should be like. :) such a joy to read!!

Thank you for the opportunity to say some more things to you! I want you to know that I appreciate you reading and reviewing my fic. It means a lot to me, and I'm thrilled that you are enjoying it! The relationship Harry has with the Weasleys is quite symbiotic, I agree. I sometimes feel that he has a relationship with Ginny's parents similar to my relationship with my in-laws (forged after 22 years of knowing them!). Harry is afraid for the reasons you said but also, I feel, because he doesn't want to look like a git in front of his friends - he is after all still an awkward young man in some instances. It can be embarrassing to put one's feelings out there for the world to see. The Weasleys are my favourite family in the series, by far. They're Ms Rowling's favourite as well, that's why she named them as she did. She loves weasels apparently! Thanks again for reading and reviewing! cj

I set up an account JUST so i could comment on this lol. It's absolutley brilliant, i loved it. Mainly i think because it was just like a natural progression from Book Seven and is so accurate in terms of what all the characters have gone on to do. You've got the characters completely right and I REALLY REALLY can't wait for the next part. Well done, its fantastic and I'm really eagerly anticipating the next part (its like waiting for a new HP book to come out!!).

im so glad you updated! i loved this chapter. i think this argument is so typical of the both of their personalities. both of them are leos, so they can be headstrong and ferocious when angry, but also loving and loyal. dont worry too much about the comments of the previous reviewers, i think you have their personalities and motivations down to a t. you knew things between ginny and harry wouldnt be so easy. ginny is fiery and she wont let harry deceive her, shes too smart for that. harry in the meantime hates when people doubt his trustworthiness and motives, as he prides himself on being honorable. theyll get past it soon enough.
Author's Response: I agree that the argument is typical of their personalities. Where did you hear that Ginny is also a Leo, though? I have all the characters' birthdays that have been mentioned on Ms Rowling's site, but haven't come across Ginny's birth date yet. Info please! Things would definitely not always be easy for our young couple. After being married for over 18 years, I understand that arguments and disagreements happen, but it isn't the end of the world or of the relationship. When there is a good foundation (as I believe Harry and Ginny have), things get resolved eventually. For that matter, some don't like Ron and Hermione arguing and bickering so often in my fics. However, I write them in such a manner as Ms Rowling writes them like that. It doesn't mean that there relationship isn't solid or it isn't any good, it's just how they relate.
