This is lovely. Very intense and stark to begin with, and the warmer ending is very smoothly done. Nice fic :)

That was really fantastic, actually. When I saw that it was your first fic, I was like, "Oh, no, get ready to start guiding a lost author to appropriate grammar and other literary habits." I'm grateful to say that I was pleasantly surprised. That was a really great story! I loved feeling awkward while reading; it really drew me into the story. You have a gift! Keep writing.
Wow . . . this is your first fic? It's great! I really hope you keep writing; it would be a shame to deprive the MNFF community of more stories like this.
Hmm...interesting little situation to explore there! Sirius coming back from Azkaban and what that would be like...not that pleasant as Remus discovered!
:)
Hello!
I almost don't believe you when you say this is your first fanfic. It's incredible. Wow. I don't have much to say other than that. I love the emotion in it. I love how you describe Remus, it's like he's a shadow of a man, not really there, just going through his days in an empty routine.
Remus had stared.
Sirius had noticed.
I love this part. I love the way it builds up to it and I really like how you seperated them into two different paragraphs. It shows the importance of it and time seems to freeze just then.
Great job!
Peace out.

How sweet! Remus and Sirius are my two favorite characters, and it is so hard to find a decent story about just them without it being slashy. This was perfect. Particularly the characters actions. Wonderful.
nice. smoothly written. seems very real.
I'm...lost...I mean, what exactly are you trying to say?
Holy. Freaking. Crap. This person is bloody good! Remus and Sirius are my favourite characters, like, ever, and the awkwardness between them is, like, almost real! I have to remind myself I'm not watching this happen in front of my eyes? Good work, rev02a. Good work.
Heh heh, sorry about my last post, I thought I had to use formatting.
Anyway, it really was an excellent story and I think it was very well written. I liked all the subtle little references and nuances to expressions, reactions, movements.
Author's Response: Thanks!
[p]Hey![/p]
[p]I really liked this story! I've never really thought of how Remus and Sirius' first meeting after all thoses years would have been like. I think the way you've portrayed it was excellent! I imagine it would've been incredibly uncomfortable and awkward at first.[/p]
Nice! Exceedingly well written, and you managed to make a very nice story out of a seemingly small incident. I like the frequent flashbacks; they seem natural, like when someone really is going through life and something reminds them of the past. Loved it!
Author's Response: Glad you enjoyed it! Thank you!
Oh my heavens. I honestly don't know what to say but I know I must because this was simply to fantastic to ignore.
Remus was spot on, I thought. He was mature, thoughtful; exactly the way I picture him. He was loveable too in his kindness to Sirius. The old friendhsip, while halting and unsure, was rekindled elegantly and I loved it. Every word of it. :D
Author's Response: Thank you so much, I love that Lupin, such a cutie that one.
I loved it!
Author's Response: Thanks!
Bravo! Loved it! So bloody hard to find anything worth reading but you did a beautiful job!

Author's Response: Thank you, dear!
Woah. That was great.
Author's Response: Thanks!
*sniff* good story!
Author's Response: Thank you so much.
That was pretty good! I love the way that they just start laughing all of a sudden. I hope that Padfoot remembered to scrub behind his ears!
Author's Response: Haha!! Thank you!
