Fred's death in DH hit me hard too, I really liked him alot. Parts of your poem touch me on a more personal note, I think everyone can relate to it because everyone has lost someone at some time. Thanks.

Oh, wow. This is so incredibly sad...I LOVED the ending. Also, I really liked this line:
"Take him with you, and my soul with him!"
Great job! This nearly made my cry. Keep writing!

Author's Response: Thank you! I'm very glad you enjoyed it, and sorry about almost making you cry, haha.

I should had been there,
I should had said goodbye.

These lines really showed George well. I think that is a really good potrayal of him.=Sammy

I know, I thought Fred's death was the worst as well! You just full didn't see it comming ...

This is lovely, and so sad - I love how it moves from George grieving to feeling guilty that he couldn't save him; you've captured this beautifully, expecially in the last stanza.

Oh, I'd like to think he recovers, but I suppose JKR never really told us ... sigh ...

Ah well, it was still a lovely poem anyway!

Author's Response: Thanks so much! I know, I'd like to think he recovered too, it would break my heart if he didn't.

that was really good! i love the last line the most. i think that's exactly how goerge would have felt, since they always did everything together before.

Author's Response: Thank you!
