I had to read this three times. It was so good and there was a lot that I could read into. Lily's voice was portrayed so eloquently and her thoughts were just so Lily-like. thanks.

Good story! The end was a bit confusing, but I'll figure it out. It seems I'm less intelligent when I'm not in school...hmmm...

Author's Response: How was it confusing?

I always love your stories. This one really got inside Lily's head and explored her conscious decision of Snape or James.

Author's Response: Thank you! :D

Great story!
It was so sad, but so sweet at the same time. Severus probably would have tried to change, but they definitely wouldn't have lived happily ever after. Plus, Lily Potter sounds so much better than Lily Snape.
Beautifully written. Lily was perfect.
great job!

Author's Response: :D Thank you!

Hi,

This is Abby.

Wow that was just pure brilliance. I found that interesting how you looked at "Snivulls" (he'll always be snivulls to me even if i cant spell it) Haha im a die hard J/L fan and wow that was just so astounding. You should me amazed. I hate Voldy, he has to ruin eveything, at least he's moldy now. Well im new and i have just read all your stories in one night and let me say they're just so gooD! I can see you as an author already!

Well as I said I am new, and I was wondering if you could beta a fic for me. That would just be really appreciated thanks so much!

I look forward to more! Much more!

Abby.

Author's Response: Aw! Thank you! And if you'd like me to Beta for you, I'd be happy to, just shoot me an email. :D

This is a really interesting take on James and Lily's relationship. It's very true to their characters. You did a great job showing what a big deal it is for her to give up her friendship with Severus. It was an interesting choice to have Snape wait so long to talk to her again, but it worked in the story.
Great job; I love your work!

Author's Response: Thank you! I was hoping to capture the story in a different way.

excellent job. i loved how you portrayed Lily. but i dont think that James would reallyey be jealous of Snape. and i dont think that Snape acctually told Lily how he felt. amazing job though.

Author's Response: I think that James was jealous of Snape. Why wouldn't he be? All those years, Lily only cared for Snape. Jo said she would have loved Snape, had he not loved the Dark Arts. James, who has had everything, can't get Lily. And Lily only had eyes for Snape.

It's really well-written (all your stories are). The story is quite good, but I don't love the way you've written Severus; I think it's a bit OOC.
I believe the main reason Snape was so bitter is the fact he didn't really try. He didn't put himself out there, and that's why he was soo jelouse of James, even before he got Lily.
He was jelouse of James because the Gryffindor took chances. He made himself vulnerable for Lily, and that's why he got her in the end. Snape loved the girl, but he never actually told her that. He loved her, but he remained involved with dark arts. That's why she didn't end up with him, and that's why he changed (as much as he could). Because he felt remorse.

Author's Response: Maybe. But why couldn't he be bitter that as much as he loved Lily and told her, she didn't love him back. With your theory, he never knew how Lily really felt. If she told him she didn't care for him, that would hurt worse. Sometimes not hearing it is easier.
