I love this story :) I'm listening as I go :)
One thing I noticed while reading/listening though... you say at one point: "George stared at him.".... he caaaaaan't really do that ;)
just finished... i'm crying again... all choked up :3 great job! I never tire of reading your masterpieces
Author's Response: Hahaha, I noticed that exact sentence when I was listening to it... but I was hoping that none of my preternaturally observant readers would. ;-)
I loved loved loved this story. It made me cry, with happiness at the end and sadness when George wouldn't talk to Fred anymore. This was one of the best stories, I've read, it was great.
Author's Response: Oh, Phantom! Thank you so much! I think this is probably the best story I've written, fanfic or not, and this review made me feel so happy.
That was by far the best Gred and Forge story I've ever read! I think I'm actually crying O.o
Author's Response: Thank you SO MUCH! This review makes me happier than I care to admit! I'm kinda grinning like an idiot.
Well I just finished listening to this today on Audiofictions. I absolutely loved this fic. It was the perfect antidote to an hour long bus ride into uni! I loved the humor but I also felt you didn't make it too light-hearted. There were times I almost cried (on the bus! Embarassing much?). I don't like it when I read a fic that treats the death of a family member with indifference because life isn't like that at all...So thankyou for your wonderful story. You made me smile!
Author's Response: Whoa, this was on Audiofictions? Where can I get my hands on this?? I want to hear! But really, thank you so much for this lovely, thoughtful review. It really means a lot to me. And have a fantastic, successful time at college!
Okay, so do you know the kids' movie Spirit? It's about a horse. And I was listening to the soundtrack while reading this, and it was amazing how much these two songs went with the plot. There's even this one line that goes, "There's a voice that clls/Remember who you are" and I read the bit where George first hears Fred RIGHT as that line played, and it was AMAZINGLY perfect. Are you on MUggleSpace? Because I'd love to chat about Discworld, which nobody I know seems to have read. I'm Neville'sGran there, too.
Author's Response: Hmmm... I've never actually seen Spirit, but my sister has... and I LOVE it when songs match up with books or stories. Sometimes (as insane as this sounds), when I'm listening to my iPod, I like to close my eyes and imagine a music video to that song cobbled together from scenes from some of my stories... hehe. But I will definitely check out that song. I'm not on MuggleSpace-- what is that? It sounds pretty awesome-- and I LOVE Discworld, and I'm so glad to see I'm not the only Discworld reader on this site.
That was a really good story.
Author's Response: Oh, thank you! I like this one...
Aww, that was so sweet!!
Author's Response: Thank you so much! This is probably my favorite story I've done. ^_^
Awww! That was really cute and I loved it! A great story that I give an A++!
Author's Response: Thank you soo much! This is actually my favorite fanfiction that I've written, and I'm so happy you like it!
This was wonderful! I alternated between laughing and crying. You have a great sense of humour and it reflects itself in all your fics. This fic was especially touching. I hated that Fred died but you made it sweet and charming and funny. My favourite bit was "In your underwear drawer" When Molly says it, I burst out laughing. When Fred said it, I became all weepy. Loved the ending. Great job!
Author's Response: Thank you so much! I loved writing this story, especially the ending, but not as much as I love getting reviews!
Aww! I loved this. It did make me laugh out loud though. Especially the "in your underwear drawer" bit. Keep on writing!
Author's Response: Oh, thanks so much! This is my favorite of my stories, actually... I wrote the whole thing in just a few hours on a car trip, and it all just kind of poured out without any planning or anything. So I'm glad that reading the story is at least a fraction as much fun as writing it.
Author's Response: Well-put!
Wow, this story made me cry! It's amazing!
Author's Response: Oh, thank you so much! This is my personal favorite fanfiction I've done.
I just read this story for the second time, it was just as great as the first time! I laughed and cried and gave the computer wierd looks. You really should publish some of your work.
Author's Response: Wow, thank you! This is my personal favorite fanfic I've written... and maybe one of my favorite pieces of writing! I'll tell you a secret, though... I've actually published a lot of my work under my real name-- a bunch of magazines and newspapers-- and six of my theatre reviews were in the Washington Post this year. So if you ever read a really, really weird story or a silly, ridiculous poem, or a theatre review full of stupid puns by a teenage girl... it may just have been me! ^_^
that was a funny one i loved it soooooo much thankyou for writing it
Author's Response: Thank you! I loved writing it so much! And it's awesome to get reviews.
hey! I don't normally read one-shots but all my usual stories had no new updates and I went on to your profile since I've enjoyed all of your potters pentagon stories (even though I'm horrible and have never left a review) but I just wanted to say thatbi really really enjoyed this one shot, very nice work. Keep writing and I hope to see a pentagon update soon!
Author's Response: Oh, thank you! This really means a lot, especially from someone who doesn't usually like to review (which is totally okay-- I was a stealth reader on MNFF for a couple years). I'm so glad you liked this story.
yay i love it, actully brought a tear to my eye lol. keep writing, you have a great future ahead of you x
Author's Response: Thank you! I definitely plan to keep writing, but I'm so glad that you liked this story! And that is a pretty kickin' username.
*Sob* How touching!
But seriously, this was really great! I never really thought about what happened to fred after he died until i read this. Good job!
Author's Response: Awww, thank you! This is actually my favourite fic I've written, so I do love getting reviews for it!
The concept was truly inspired, and the story expertly handled. It was everything it should have been and more. I must say, "In your underwear drawer" goes above and beyond the call of duty.
You done good, kid.
Author's Response: ZOHEB! YOU'RE ALIVE! *Faints of glee* Incidentally, thank you so much for that lovely review.
Thanks for a wonderful story.
It really adds to DH and says some profound things about "life, death and the universe"!
You have made my day.
Keep writing, you have a great future ahead of you.
Author's Response: Thank you so much-- this REVIEW has made my day! I had a fantastic time writing it.
Great story. Esmerelda sounds like you got it from discworld Esme Weatherwax.
If Fred and George had ended up in Hell, I think the Devil would have given up this throne the next day. Imagine the explaining St Peter would have to give God for letting the both of them in.
Author's Response: Thank you! Actually, Esmerelda is one of my favourite names (I actually got it from the Hunchback of Notre Dame character), but I'm glad you assumed Discworld-- I love Discworld to bits, and I'm so annoyed that a character from that heinous Twilight series is named Esme. Argh. Bahahahaha, the idea of the devil giving up his throne is hilarious.
