Chapter: Beauty for Ashes

Nope, definitely not a story to read while hormonal. Now I'm crying hysterically. Man...this was such a good story! I love how you make Severus such a likeable character. On a different, yet semi-related note, are you going to do a DH-based Snape/Eris story?

Author's Response: It took a long time to write this because I kept crying, so thank you for crying too! I prefer to think you're a sensitive soul. :) As for being likeable, It's how you look at him. Through Harry's eyes, Severus' redeeming qualities are few, but the end of DH showed how wrong Harry was. If I ever wrote another Snape fic, it would be post DH, because I think he deserves to move on and find love.

That was so beautiful. Severus is an absolutely amazing character, endlessly fascinating and you captured him so perfectly! Awww and he was going to build a cot. I want to cry.

Author's Response: He was going to have one made, which for him was a huge step, to allow not only love, but a child into his life. I'm choosing to believe that 'the third time's the charm' when it comes to Severus and love, and he'll have that cot built one day! :)

Beautiful. Absolutely beautiful. Loved it.

Author's Response: Thank you! Severus is such a gothic hero, tragically flawed and doomed, but I wish Jo had let him live snarkily happy ever after!

I will never stop being disturbed by this pairing, but you write it better than anyone else, so kudos to you! I actually forgot my disgust at one point!

Author's Response: That's a high compliment! I will treasure it always, the way I'll always hope that Snape found a Belarusian woman to give him a snarkily happy ever after and a baby Snape to peer between the rails of a cot at his parents 'playing' on the rug before the fire! :)
