Author's Response: Just imagine how Harry felt! Poor Teddy takes it on the chin more than once in this story. He's a brave guy. I love him!

Author's Response: Okay, take a deep breath. . . Ah,that's much better, isn't it? Thanks for your comments.

Author's Response: Ah, yes, fluff! Cassandra is glad Lola is so happy!

Author's Response: This was a fun chapter. A little fluff, a little humor. And that stupid owl, interrupting at such a crucial moment. Damn all the owls! Ha!

Author's Response: Yep, Ted. I hadn't intended making him such a big part of the story, but he just wouldn't go away. I think it's the blue hair. You gotta love a guy with distinction.
lola likes i looove clifies :) ;)
Author's Response: Glad you like the cliffies. Most of the readers on this site have been cursing me roundly for them. Of course they had to wait around for updates, whereas you've got the entire story (almost) spread before you. Anyway, thanks.

i will be sad when it's over you've got to write more fan fic when you're done with this one i'll read it truely i will
Author's Response: I do plan to write other fics. I have a Christmas story already started that I will hopefully have posted here soon. I've posted the Epilogue so that should be available for you to read soon (the mods have to approve it first). Thanks for your review.
Well, I suppose I'm weighing in a bit late, but I did want to let you know it's a lovely story. You've obviously gone to great lengths to stick to canon, and it all flows very nicely and methodically--though I wouldn't be afraid to put your own spin on things even further in the future! :) I also thought you're characterization was almost entirely spot-on, though I think I personally would hope that Harry and company might've grown up a bit more in all those years. Not to say that we don't always have a bit of maturing to do, but thinking of Ron and Harry still having month-long falling outs and Ron (and Hermione for that matter!) being so daft in those earlier parts of their relationship... well, it pains me a bit! At any rate, I enjoyed the read. Well done!
Author's Response: Thanks for your review. I am indeed a big believer in canon. I've always wondered at some of the AU fics in terms of why the authors don't just change the names of the characters and publish them as original fiction. The purpose of fanfiction, at least the ones I enjoy reading, is to expand an existing world, so yes, I do stick to the story lines Jo established. As to Harry & Ron's tiff and Hermione's romantic machinations, keep in mind that these characters are reflecting on things that happened when they WERE much younger. By the time this story takes place, however, Harry has forgiven Ron and even acknowledged that the tiff was mostly his fault, and Hermione is enormously embarrassed at the memory of her 21-year-old self using McLaggen to make Ron jealous. I did much sillier things myself when I was 21 (I'm a tad older than that now!). So I think they have matured, but whenever human emotions are involved, people do daft things, and wizards & witches are probably no exception. At any rate, I really do appreciate your comments. I've just posted the Epilogue, so it should be availabe for you to read (and hopefully review) very soon.
Author's Response: Thanks!
Author's Response: Thanks!
Author's Response: Thanks!

Author's Response: Thank you! I just posted the Epilogue, so if the mods remain true to form (they've been astonishingly quick lately) you should be able to read it soon.
Very satisfying ending. I am so sad to see the story end! I do hope you will write more. I am looking forward to the epilogue with a heavy heart. This story has been a lovely pleasure for me over the past couple of weeks. I will miss it.
Author's Response: I have a one-shot already started. It's a Christmas story that I promised to the FanFiction.Net Reviews Lounge and it deals with some of the samae themes in this story, so that'll be up here soon, I hope. I also have kind of a plot bunny for another full-length fic but it's not completely developed yet. So if you have me on your Alerts list, you'll be notified when and if future stories appear. I so appreciate your comments and always look forward to reading them. Thanks you so much for all your reviews. I'm feeling a bit sad about this story ending myself, but onward and upward, right? Thanks again!
Ahhh...sweet chapter :] I feel bad for Bill, but Teddy and Victoire are just such a cute couple. Do you think Victoire was named for Viktor Krum or was it just a coincidence? Anyway. Great conclusion, can't wait for the epilogue and I hope you write more after this one! Toodles,
Author's Response: Actually, I believe Victoire means "victory" and probably commemorates the victory over Voldemort and the DE's at the end of the war. It might also (in my mind anyway) commemorate the victory of the Weasley family at overcoming the tragedy of Fred's death and moving on with life again. I will undoubtedly write more after this (let's face it, I'm hooked!) but it may not be right away. I have a one-shot Christmas story about half-written, but as far as full-length fics go, that'll probably have to wait until after the first of the year. Thanks for your comments and for your faithful readership. Both are appreciated.
