Very good chapter! I really think you did well in explaining the emotions of all of the parties during the saying goodbye and last week. I really can't wait to see what is going to happen now. Hopefully Penny has something to say that will change the Wizengamot's ruling. Keep up the good work.
THAT WAS ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! i'll keep my eyes peeled for the next chapter
you made me cry it was that great! =] For awhile, I almost believed that you would actually send Tonks & Lupin back. Please update soon! =]
oh my goodness! What excellent writing, I have never cried that much when reading anything....I was bawling, oh my goodness (I still am). What an awesome chapter, so full of emotions...and so real! Tonks and Remus have always been my favourite couple, and of all the deaths in any of the books, it was their that hit me the hardest...and then having to read them preparing for another death was too much for me to bear. It felt so real to me...you are so extremely talented, I can see you going far with your writing abilities! It's a true gift as an author to have the power to make a person reading it so emotional and feel like it's real. Many people try, but few succeed. I can't wait to read the next chapter! I'm sure it will be even better! You truly have an amazing talent!
OH MY GOD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! U CAN'T DO THIS TO US!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! UPDATE UPDATE UPDATE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! good chapter, btw. :-P i got all choked up in more than one part. but UPDATE!!!!!!!
OH NO! You can't leave me hanging like that! What does Penny want to say? Will they be saved? Update again soon, please!
"It was with a kind of grim inevitability that Nymphadora Tonks had watched the last hours of her life stream away too fast."
Don't you mean Tonks-Lupin? Or Lupin? :P
Ah, I was trying not to cry while reading this. It's hard to say goodbye to your loved ones when you know that you're about to die. Anyway, this is amazing. I love this.
This is amazing. I really like the cliff hanger and the end, though its frustrating!
Hallelujah! Hope enters once more! I knew you'd come through Pallas! I am not ashamed to say... okay, maybe I am a little, that I was reading this update at my desk at work, and I cried. I shed tears when Tonks and Andromeda said their goodbyes, when Teddy, Remus and Tonks said their goodbyes and when Remus and Tonks were standing holding hands waiting for their fate so bravely, barely hearing anyone speaking, lost in each other. And the way you described the way Tonks smelled to Teddy... brilliance. That's exactly the way my mother smells to me, like home, like love. Brilliance.
You are so right by that. Is there.. what, two more chappies left? GREAT STORY! I risked missing the bus to read half of it this morning. Fantastic, I loved it, well done! :)
WAHOOOO!!!!! They can't send them back! I hoped something like this would happen! Thanks for not ending the chapter where it looked like they were going to go back.
I love how you got everyone's point of view. I was sobbing when I read this. Great chapter.
Please, update soon!
Amazing chapter!!! I look forward to the next update :-)
That would indeed have been way more horrible! I cannot tell you how much I admire your writing. You had me ready to say goodbye to Remus and Tonks, even though I've been sure that you wouldn't.
I can't wait for the next chapter! And all the ones after that :D
Oh. My. God. I have NEVER in my life teared up while reading a fan fiction story... until now. That was absolutely amazing. Incredible.
I loved that the time-department employees didn't want to set up the portal. I loved Kingsley's reaction to the situation. Loved the simply goodbye between Remus and Tonks.
My favorite paragraph was this: "And then suddenly, Remus Lupin was at his side, smiling wanly at him, his teacher, his mentor, his friend. He was the last true link that Harry had to his parents, the last of the Marauders to be flung beneath the cruel heel of fate. He had taught him to fight the incarnation of fear itself, helped him beyond measure as he learned how to defend himself from the inevitable, and given him the strength to find the courage to go on and face his own death for the good of the wizarding world. He was a good man who’d fought a long war against the world, the Death Eaters, against the pull of the moon, and his own fears."
Amazing. I would have killed you if you had ended the chapter earlier. Can't wait for the next!!
Great chapter! And thank you so much for not ending it on another huge cliffie! Can't wait to hear what Percy has to say!
*releases the breath that she has been holding since the end of the last chapter* Great chapter! You nearly had me in tears!
Oh, thank heavens there's hope yet! What an emotional chapter!
Why must you write so beautifully and so make me bawl my eyes out?!?!?!?!!!! GREAT chapter, but... UGH!! I hate cliffies!! LOL
THEY CAN NOT DIE!!!!!!!
WOW, I guess I should have seen that coming, but OH MY GOODNESS!!!
And Azkaban for Teddy! I knew it was going to happen. If Remus and Tonks die, it will be nothing compared to losing them.
I hope they get out of it somehow, like the Portal won't let them back.
PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE update soon!
Evil evil cliffy! I love the story though.
