Wow! What a fantastic first chapter. It is nauseating to hear such things come from Sirius though, just goes to show how parents press their own beliefs onto their children. Poor Andromeda having to listen to that, I assume the letter she'd been writing was to Tedd Tonks? I can't wait to read on and find out what changes Sirius, what makes him become a Gryffindore instead of a Slytherin, what alters his opinions so much that he can befriend James, Remus, Peter and later Lily. There was quite a lot of information in this chapter, and many descriptions too, all of it was brilliant. Please update soon.

Really intresting way to start a story. I always imagined Sirius as a rebel but your way works too! I suppose it makes more sense in a lot of ways though. I hope you keep writing and update the story soon.
