I can see Dudley's interest in Quidditch, although he would need more of an Abraxan horse than a Firebolt. I can see him doing the 'Crabbe/Goyle' sort of Beating.....=)

Dudley is a bit....more humane than I like to think of him.... you do it in an intristing way, fun to read...=) Although, I was really hoping for some 'mishandled' magic and perhaps another issue for Dudders.... well, the story's barely started. I really love it. =)

Okay, wow. This is most definitely one of my favourite stories. I love everything about this fic, starting from the plot to the characters, and I totally love what you did to Petunia and Dudley. Vernon, obviously, was totally in character XD. And Dudley, a wizard?? AWESOME :D. I can't wait to read the next chapter! Hope the wait won't be long!--Nadia :D

Yeah update and WOW plot twist!! I didn' even think that that could happen! I thought of aa theroy though, about why he didn't gett into hogwarts, he may have gotten a letter and before he could see it, his father refused for him. Just a thought. Also, if Dudley had gone to hogwarts with Harry before he changed into nice Dudley, well Harry's life wouldn't have been so great. Also, he couldn't see the dementor in OOTP when only wizerds can see them... if he's a wizerd then how is that possible? Just a thought. I loveed the chapter however and can't wait to see where you're going with this!

I love this, i really do, but unfortunately i see a flaw. The birth of every child with magic in their blood, muggleborn or otherwise is recorded by a magical quill and they are all sent letters by the closest school when they turn 11, then it is up to the family to decide to act on it or not (muggleborn's usually receive a visit from someone from the school too to talk to them)...its not a matter of displaying magic before one is 11, its actually in their blood, hence why the perceived differences between pure/half/muggle borns is redundant, but other than that, i really do like this chapter, Dean especially! thanks!!
Author's Response: I actually got the idea to make Dudley a wizard because of two answers JK gave in interviews. I can only find one of those interviews now, but in the other one, she hinted that we would learn about a muggle becoming a wizard later in life (I'm sure I got the exact wording wrong; I haven't read the interview in years). I found the other interview and pasted it below.
Is Aunt Petunia a Squib?
Good question. No, she is not, but—[Laughter]. No, she is not a Squib. She is a Muggle, but—[Laughter]. You will have to read the other books. You might have got the impression that there is a little bit more to Aunt Petunia than meets the eye, and you will find out what it is. She is not a squib, although that is a very good guess. Oh, I am giving a lot away here. I am being shockingly indiscreet.
Just from those two interviews, the idea popped into my head that Dudley could be a wizard. I know it doesn't follow the magic quill rule, but hasn't JK herself proven that, when it comes to magic, rules can often be broken? I am glad you like the story and especially that you take the time to write a review! Thanks! :)
