Oh my. It does make sense that Dudders Magic was suppressed. It would probably help him if just one person was instructing him. I think he has a lot motivation to learn. He wants to help protect his parents, especially his Mum. Dean won't be around long, as he will (I predict) break out Ted Tonks. That is if you're following Canon. I must go on to find out what happens next.

Chapter: Mrs. Longbottom's Experiment
The change in Dudley and Petunia is amazing. But Vernon is still a problem. Not that he'll speak much until Hestia gives him his voice back. Now there's a new wrinkle. I'm guessing Dudley might have a bit of Magic in him. Not enough to alert Hogwarts, but maybe a bit. Hmmmm? Now I must go on and see what happens. Fascinating.

Oh my goodness! Petunia finally let it out. It's too bad Harry wasn't there to hear it. I have to wunder what this will do to Vernon. He has got to change out someone will toss him a room and lock him in. I was thrilled that Dudley asked all his questions. That had to open both his and her eyes. Now it looks like Dean is about to join the group. I'm also Thankful that Vernon screwed up Riddles name. That would have been horrible.

yay! finally! i had a feeling since i started reading this story that dudley might be a wizard, and the clues kept piling up! Again, though, you paced things just right... waited just long enough to let us know for sure, and have dudley find out, that he's a wizard. OOOH I cannot WAIT to hear what Vernon will have to say about this! lol. I hope you're still updating this story, and will update again soon. =) i'm def not ready for this tale to end!

Well I really hope no one gets hurt!! I miss Vernon's jerk-ish but hilarious comments, but I'm enjoying the action. Also, I wanted to compliment your pacing... The characters are developing and growing at a realistic rate, and things aren't happening too fast or too slow, which is really nice. a lot of times author's either drag a plotline out, or reveal things / present character growth way too fast. Your story so far has been paced just right!! Can't wait to see what happens next! This is prob my fav HP fanfiction =)

Wow! Ok when i started reading this story i was wondering if dudley would end up being a wizard or having some sort of magical powers... and when you said only two wizards would be able to cross into the Longbottoms' house as a security measure, I had a feeling that after the three "muggles" entered, only one wizard would be able to cross...suggesting one of the "muggles" is actually a witch/wizard! At first I was guessin it's dudley, but maybe it's vernon? obv it can't be petunia, or dumbledore would have let her go to hogwarts... but wouldn't hagrid have told dudley he was wizard when he came to get harry? hmm... maybe vernon stole dudley's letters as well, huh? I'm guessin that's what happened, but it would be a funny twist if it turned out vernon was a fully qualified wizard or somthin! LOL. i love the little details you put in from the book, like the fact that Neville's walls are covered w/ bubblegum wrappers... =)

my fave part of this chapter is when Vernon is complaining about the polyjuice potion and Hestia goes, "Yes, i know you're worried about it getting into your dinner" hehehe yep def seems like somethin uncle vernon would be supremely concerned about considering he and his entire family are being stalked by murderous wizards... i mean, a man's gotta eat! lol. I like the way you're portraying petunia, it seems very likely she'd be feeling this way after what snape's memories told us in book 7. thanks for another great chapter!
