Ah, Sev/Lily romance angst. I love your characterization of them both-- the story flowed nicely. Don't you just wish that they stayed friends? *sigh*
I LOVE Carrie Underwood! The song was beautiful to go with the story.
Kudos!

Author's Response: Thanks! I do wish they'd stayed friends. :(

I wish that "simple rule of life" were true. As a father, I've had to watch my daughters learn that best friends are all too willing to abandon friends when puberty hits and boys are suddenly the most fascinating thing in their pathetic little lives.
Author's Response: I wish it were true to - and I know what you mean. I've experienced it personally so maybe this fic is just me wishing people didn't change. :) Thanks for reviewing!
I love it! great job. Your insight and imanigation is awesome. You really should have made this a series, i would love to know moore. keep writing.
Author's Response: *cheers* Thanks for reading and reviewing! There may be sequels so keep an eye out!
VERY TOUCHING.
Author's Response: Thanks so much! *is flattered*

Aww, that was the cutest story ever :)
It was so sweet, and I can really imagine Lily and Snape being that way as children.
Author's Response: Glad you enjoyed it! :)
I'm crying.
So bittersweet.
Tremendous Job.
Off to faves.
Author's Response: Yay, thank you for reviewing!
*sniff* great story!!
Author's Response: Thanks!
I enjoyed everything, but the song component. Please don't hate me!
I think you did a fantastic job of capturing Lily's naivete. She's idealistic and she's very protective of her best friend (all of her friends, actually - hence Mary MacDonald).
Will there be sequels by chance?
Author's Response: Aw, why didn't you like the song? ^_^ I don't hate you - it's hard to hate reviewers! I don't know about sequels - not that you mention it I do have a few ideas, so maybe! Thanks for reviewing, and I'm glad you liked the story!
Hey!
Your story was very well written. I didn't quite expect Sev's outburst, but then again, he kept it buttled for too long. Both his and Lily's reactions are realistic. Overall, the story makes me want to hug the poor boy.
Oh, and another thing; I think you might want to put an abuse warning up?
Keep up the good work!

Author's Response: I fixed the warnings, thanks for that! I know Snape's outburst was a little OOC but well, he had kept it in for a long time, and he was out stewing and didn't honestly want to be bothered... and he didn't want to tell Lily in case she thought he wasn't worth her friendship - and I considered that as a child, even Sev wouldn't have as much control over his emotions as he has when he is an adult. Thanks for reviewing though!
Brought a tear to my eye... it's sad to think that they won't be friends when they grow older. The characters were perfect and I really felt sorry for Snape.
Author's Response: That's what I thought as I was writing it - it made me feel horrible, the way they parted... especially when Severus seemed so overjoyed at finding a friend in the first place. Thanks for the review!
