that was really cheesy! but it made me laugh...
Author's Response: Hehehe, yeah, it was supposed to be cheesy. After all, HSM is cheesy, isn't it? As is lasagna? < /pointless>
HA! Schmerg, I love you, I really do... I hated most of the HSM songs sooo much, but your version was just brilliant! I loved "That's Not How I Planned to Go" the most - I think it's because that was my favorite song of the movie too... But what got me the best was actually your Porky Pig imitation at the end... PRICELESS!!! :D During Ginny's song I felt like whacking her over the head with a baseball bat though (especially when she said "I'm dumb so...", that cracked me up so bad). Heh.
Once again, amazing!!! Keep up the hilarity!!! :D
And PS, I'm working on Voldy Therapy again in case you forgot about me, so expect the next chapter soon, dear beta! :P
Author's Response: Oh, Trish! Thanks for your kind words! It's funny, at Hershey park, you could make a music video of yourself singing karaoke, and I picked "When There Was Me And You" and sang this version... I was bored.
That was so hilarious! I especially enjoyed "What I've Been Looking For".
Author's Response: Oh, thank you very much!
Schmergo, I'm not sure I ever got around to telling you I love you. Now's as good a time as any, I guess, as I'm supposed to be getting ready for work and instead I'm battling my deep desires to turn on the HSM soundtrack and sing along to your spoof. It was very good. If I knew any guys, I'd get them to sing along with me in a heartbeat. And I also love how you're still spoofing in your Author's Responses. Absolutely wonderful. Anyway. Good job on this one -- probably my favorite so far! I really need to move away from my computer now because the longer I stay the more likely I am to turn on HSM and sing....
Have a nice day! *D*
Author's Response: Hi! *Waves like a loony* Oh, thank you! I definitely recommend singing this! ^_^ I went to this performing arts institute over the summer, and about six people and I were singing these songs on the bus ride home (driving everyone crazy).
*Mails my ridiculously musical brother to you so you can have a guy to sing with*
Author's Response: I can't help spoofing the author's responses... I get these ideas, and I have to write them down!
Schmergo, you have outdone yourself, which i didn't think was even possible, but it goes to show you that everyone can be wrong and write horrible run on sentences such as this one. :) But seriously, that was HILARIOUS!!! I'd better show this to my little sis, who's not that into HP but is a huge HSM fan! If you ever get hired to write musicals, don't forget to still write fanfiction!! I loved "That's Not How I Planned to Go"!
This death is really shi…mmery…"
Hehehe. Gets me every time.
Author's Response: Spotted Owl! (Have you ever seen that skit where the guy eats bald eagle and says it tastes 'a little like spotted owl?") I'm so glad you think it's funny... I was rather fond of that song, too. Singing Basilisks..
I would *love* to write a musical one day (I wrote a full musical about an insane school run by four thieves in sixth grade, but I'd never let anyone see it.. it's quite horrid), or at least be the lyricist. My brother's the one good at writing music. Hey! Maybe we could make a Harry Potter musical!
Oh that was simply SUPERB! I loved it! Especially Getcha head out of the way, that's my favourite song, lol! You're great as a poet...you're an idol for me. I wish I could be like you *sob*
Anyways, 10/10! *sing song voice* Keep it up, keep it up, keep it up
You'll get (even more) fame!
(That was "Get ur head in the game" tune btw...lol)
Author's Response: Oh, Bookwormy, thank you! I'm sure you can write much better spoofs than me... I just make them up off the top of my head and they're pretty lame. (The get your head in the game thing was cute.)
woah! Hilarious, especially since I hate HSM with a passion. Hairspray or Wicked would be fabulous! Great job, schmergo.
'This death is really shi…mmery…'
Author's Response: Hehehe, thanks! That's the great thing about spoofs... people who like HSM and people who hate it can enjoy spoofs. (I've seen so many Harry Potter spoofs, and both people who hate and love Harry Potter like them.) Oh yes, the infamous shimmery line...
*chokes* *Sputter* *Dies*
I have to admit, I've always seen you around the forums but I've never read a fic of yours...well, you've got a new fan, Schmerg! That was so damn funny! The people down here in the lounge were staring at me because I was laughing out loud. *looks* *still staring* I guess they haven't stopped yet...O.o
Anyway, great spoof. *goes off to look at author's page*
Author's Response: Oh, gosh! Thanks so much, Star! I love getting new readers. ^_^ Just wave at the nice people in the lounge and say "I have a connection to Voldemort's mind, and he's thinking naughty thoughts!" then simply skip away.
Haha luved it! I think a wicked spoof would be awesome! you shouldI do it for their sixth year, i can just see dumbledore's funeral as For Good, and Ginny and Harry's relationship as As Long as Your Mine.
Author's Response: I think the seventh book would be a good Wicked... Snape can sing "Defying Gravity" after he jumps out the window, because metaphorically it also makes a lot of sense... and Dumbledore and Harry can sing For Good at King's Cross. (Or Voldemort and Harry!)
The Young Tom Riddle can sing a version of "Popular"":
Voldemort! I'm gonna be Voldemort!
I'll learn all the proper ploys
To kill baby boys
Learn to swoop and snatch and pounce
I'm gonna give kids a scare
Have no nose or hair
But evil in quite large amounts
When I'm Voldemort!
I'm gonna be Voldemort!
I'll have armies of cohorts
They'll be Voldemort's
Death Eaters, my evil court
And nothing's gonna hold me
Back from being Voldy-mort!
Author's Response: Awww, thank you! And it's my first review! Squee!
