Wow, that was really good. I can just see Lily at her desk writing this poem to Snape.
You made her sound regrefull yet sure and that is the quality I really liked.=Sammy
Author's Response: Thank you. I was going for that feeling, so I am glad that you felt it.
A very well rounded, very well written poem. It shows Lily's acceptance of the situation, and her moving on. It's like, 'Well you've made your choice, now I'm making mine,' type of thing. Sad, but not overly so. Subtle enough to stir a feeling inside the reader, but not over the top so that it was too depressing (if.. that makes sense? no? Ah well xDD). What I'm trying to say is that this poem is beautiful and that you did a very good job in portraying the characters and their emotions! Keep on writing!
Author's Response: Thanks very much. It makes perfect sense to me. Thanks for reviewing!
that was so beautiful! it's so sad, but it's perfect. amazing!
Author's Response: Tanks. It is a bit sad, but I was aiming for sad acceptance, not really sad depression. I hope that is what you got.
Very well done, you expressed her thoughts creatively such as in this line...
Iím writing us away,
The us that never was.
Your use of words made this poem so much more "poetic" and original. Great job.
Author's Response: Thank you very much. I actually wrote the poem for a different reason, but it fit this topic so well I just tweaked a few words and sent it in...
ur a really good poet!
Author's Response: That is very nice of you to say. Thanks for reveiwing.
Author's Response: Thanks!
That was so sweet! I take it you've read DH then lol! x)
Author's Response: Read it, loved it, cried during it, the whole nine yards.
Aww! That's so sad, but wonderful! I love it :D
Author's Response: Thank you.
