This is so incredibly beautiful and clever. I am going to pretend this is actually part of Jo's picture, and forever imagine that Fred's portrait is catching shoplifters. It makes the pain lessen slightly.

Author's Response: Thank you! I will definitely continue. I just can't imagine a post-DH universe without a portrait of Fred in it. I'd been writing a series of vignettes, but they've (annoyingly) developed a bit of a plot, so it looks like it'll be a long one. It'll start right at the end of Fred's wake. If I'm lucky, I'll actually be able to finish the monster.
