Great Poem! Usually, I don't like rhyming poems, but your rhymes were not forced, each one fit, and each-one was there for a reason. The stanza breaks were well done as well. I think this captured Dumbledore and his sorrow perfectly, especially the lines
Peacefulness,
Happiness,
A family again,
These are the things I wish for you
when I whisper your name.

All in all, wonderful job!

Author's Response: Thank you! I'm really pleased you liked it. I normally don't like rhyming, either (mainly because I'm horrible at it) but this poem just seemed to come to me. :) Once again, thanks for your lovely review!

This was very very good. I loved the flow of the poem. Poor Dumbledore, how little we knew of the pain he was hiding all those years. Three chears for this poem! Great job,

Awww... This poem was so beautifully written, made me a little teary. Poor Albus, to be forever burdened with guilt and regret, you described it beautifully too. Well done, keep on writing!

Author's Response: I'm so glad you liked the poem! I felt so sorry for Dumbledore while writing it. Thank you, thank you, thank you for your review!!!

That was sooo sad it made me cry. You see, I'm what one might call Dumbledore's man, through and through so It really gets me all weepy when he gets hard on himself. Anyway, great job and keep writing.=Sammy

Author's Response: I'm sorry it made you cry! Thank you SO much for the review, though. Dumbledore has always been one of my most favorite characters, and reading his story in Book 7 made me so sad.

Poor Dumbledore...I love him.

Great poem!

Author's Response: Thanks! :) I love Dumbledore too - I felt so bad for him during Book 7. That's why I wrote this poem! -fawkeshermione

Very sad poem. You did a great job of describing his faults and of how he probably feels about them. The last two lines were brilliant. My bits of critique:

Peacefulness,
Happiness,
A family again,
These are the things I wish for you
when I whisper your name.

While most of the poem rhymes, this stanze does not, and it kind of wrecks the flow.

The memory of myself, so unspeakably vain...

This lne is a bit long and I think it could be separated into two.

Anyways, great job. Keep writing! ^_^

Author's Response: Thank you so much for your review! I'm especially grateful for your critique. It helps make me a better writer. Actually, for that stanze I meant for again to be pronounced like "a gain". (I know it doesn't totally rhyme with name but ti sounds a bit better that way). As for the other line, I'm glad you pointed that out to me. I might have to go change that now. Thanks! fawkeshermione
