So the necklace does have to do with Fred being back. I still think it also has something to do with the Bandersnatch murder, too. It was good of Dumbeldore to give Fred the hint that he had somthing to do with it, although he was extremely cryptic. And I laughed so hard at this part, it was definitely my favorite bit of the whole chapter:
"Wow." George's eyes widened. "Are you thinking what I'm thinking?"
"When am I ever not?"

By the third paragraph I had figured it was the necklace; George's misgivings make it seem like he must have heard the tale of the three brothers long ago but only vaguely remembers it. I rather doubt Harry is going to be pleased when he finds out what's been going on.

It was the necklace!! That was what was keeping Fred there! George needs to figure it out so he can bring him back! Hurry George! But then again, is it really fair to bring him back? Is it really fair for Fred to be just like air and for George to be living? This is getting complicated, but it is such an exciting story!

Wow...this is the first Fred & George story I've read...I LOVE the idea of Fred coming back to life, and I'm dying to know why...you have my interest!!!
Poor George. I mean, seriously. I loved that part when Fred said "Forgotten I was dead?" That was hilarious and very raw. It's Puking Pastilles, though, not Puking Pastels (although that looks nice in an alliterative sort of way too!) I'm going to add this to my Favorites!
