Gosh! I have no words left to say. Every single one of those reviews has said it foe me, you have a real way with words. And the words in brackets didn't bother me at all! ;)

Author's Response: Thank you so much for enjoying it!

Wow. You manage to convey so much with so little words. It seems to me that Remus is fighting with himself on a level he doesn't even know about and I thought you put that beautifully.

It took me a second to get used to the style but I fell in love with it halfway through. I adore this. I can't even express how i feel about this. (you probably could in parentheis)

Remus has always been one of my favorite characters and The way you have brought him out in this story as an actual person and not a meer sidekick or push over make me really happy! Just amazing!

Author's Response:
I did warn that the style is off-putting at first and I wish that I could have told this story another way, but now that 's it done, I really feel as though the manner of telling does the story justice. It wouldn't be the same story written another way.

Are there people who explain Remus as a meer sidekick or pushoever? Whatever for? *scratches forehead*

Thanks again for reading!

This was great! Sirius was exactly how I would picture him. I especially liked how, in the end, Remus's age melted away.
This was a very believable story. I hate it when authors use a paring that isn't cannon, and when you read it, it sounds fake. This was not like that at all.
Keep up the good work!

Author's Response: Darling, Remus and Sirius's love for each other issocanon; it's all in the subtext. Thanks for reading and enjoying!

I like this idea, but the thoughts in italics really disrupted the flow of the story for me

Author's Response: I'm sorry that the concept wasn't executed well, for you. Thanks for reading, anyway!

This was really beautiful and extremely well written. The style of it was very unique and the italic words gave so much more meaning to everything. It made it kind of poetic. And the way you portrayed Remus's death - that was done very sympathetically, very tastefully (oh, I can't find the right words for it... I'm not as talented with words as you are...)
Congrats on such a brilliant fanfic!

Author's Response: Thank you so much! I was afraid that the last part might seem out of telling with the rest of the story, so I'm thrilled that you felt it was done sympathetically and tastefully. Thanks for the review!

Brilliant. This was the perfect mixture of sad reflection and internal struggle. Thereís simply no other word for it; itís completely brilliant.

The thing that stuck out to me the most was probably the style it was written in. At first, it was a little difficult to understand, but after the first few paragraphs it really began to flow. The inferred words really added a lot to the one-shot it was probably the thing that made it the most unique. First off, Iíve never seen anything written in such a style, and secondly, it really intensified every emotion. Wonderful job.

Heís tired (exhausted) and feels as though heís been wrung out (pulled) and left to dry (die).

Something about this line makes me laugh. I love the wording Ďwrung out and left to dry,í but then when you take the inferred words in account, it makes the meaning more intense. I especially like the use of the word 'dieí for some reason. Although, it could be something as silly as the fact as it rhymes with dry that entertains me, or it could be a more meaningful version where I like it because it seems to fit so perfectly. Either or, I just canít put my finger on it.

After a moment (eons, Remus squeezes back.

Again, I love how the language intensifies along with the moment. The first scene shows such desperation and need that, when I read it, I didnít realize I was holding my breath until I read that latter part of this sentence. Itís amazing how you can portray Remus as accepting Siriusís company in three simple words, none of which being dialogue.

The title, however, was probably my favourite thing about the one-shot. Before I read it, I spent at least five minutes trying to make sense of it. Even with the bold translation in the Authorís note, I still couldnít make the connection. Finally, I gave up on making sense of the title and read the one-shot. Once I read it, though, the title just seemed to click. Overall, wonderful job!

Author's Response:
You know, I typed up this beautifully long response to your review and then MNFF logged me out...

I know that the formatting was difficult at times and you can't imagine how many incarnations it went through before it finally got settled that this way (italics and parantheses) would be easiest to understand. And I know that the title is confusing as all heck until after you read the story, but I'm thrilled that you got it once you had read the story.

Thank you so, so, so much for this beatiful review. *treasures always*

Yay! This was certainly something new and different, and I'm glad it came out. New and different is fun.

Author's Response: YAY! I'm so excited that it went through, too!
