Excellent, an actual reason for Dudley being so spoiled, keep him happy so he doesn't show magic. Shame he forgot that little memory though, perhpas there could be a whole new fic about his becoming a Slytherin, for I've no doubt that's what he'd be. Hmm, a muggleborn slytherin, Malfoy would love that. Anyway, great fic, and good job tying the loose ends up. Oh and I like Dumbledore's letter alot, I don't know why but I got the impression he knew they'd do as he wanted. Perhaps Dudley wasn't a wizard at all, or maybe Dumbledore didn't want Dudley to end up at Hogwarts and decided to kill two birds with one stone.

I just wrote a drabble on Dudley getting his acceptance letter into Hogwarts. Petunia actually approved of his going in my story. But you made and interesting argument in yours.
