I have one word - Indominatble
Author's Response: Did you mean, indomitable? Thank you for taking the time to read this.
love your stories. there great
Author's Response: Thank you. I'm happy you enjoy them. I don't post here any more. I mainly post on The Petulant Poetess. I have several stories I have written since this last one. I hope you find an opportunity to have a read and enjoy. http://www.thepetulantpoetess.com/viewuser.php?uid=68
I read this story all the time , and still never get tired of it. I just love this story.
Author's Response: Thank you. I'm glad you like to come back to it. I have stories like that too, that I go back to and read from time to time. It makes me happy to know others do the same to mine. I appreciate it!
OK, this is a little off the topic of the chapter, but I have to say that I love your author's notes. They give you a voice besides that of your writing, and yet they aren't too personal. You always keep it related to the story, and keep it nice. On some other sites (and in less frequency here) I've seen some pretty horrid author's notes, such as "srry that the chapter is so short. ill update as soon as i can." You always keep your author's notes to fully written out statements, and they aren't begging for reviews or apologizing for the story. I also like the way you use ~*~*~*~*~*~*~ to signify the beginning, rather than A/N, or something like that. Great work, both in the notes, and the chapter! Keep it up!
Author's Response: Thanks. I feel odd asking people to review. I figure, if you like it then you'll leave a review. I know what you mean about some authors notes. I've read some that sound like they are reviewing their own story! Or something stupid like "Oh, I wonder what Hermione will do now?" Like duh! That to me is just stupid. Its like you are treating the reader like some idiot.
Wow. The best praise I can give this chapter is that it came very close to making me cry. I can count on one hand the published books that have made me cry. The way you handled Snape's "news" was touching and saddening all at the same time. Amazing, simply amazing. You have such a writing talent. Congratulations on making it into the tiny club of authors such as JKR herself and Louisa May Alcott that can make me cry.
Author's Response: Well, I'm sorry I made you cry, but on the other hand I'll take it as an extreme compliment. I'm glad the chapter touched you. I try to put a lot of emotion into my writing. I like the reader to think that they can become any of the characters and feel what they do. Thank you for taking the time to read this. And thank you very much for the wonderful compliment on my writing. I really appreciate it. That brought a smile to my face, and I was in dire need of one today.
Ohh!!!! What's happening to Remus?! I love the fact that you chose to use Pettigrew's silver hand in their cure for lycantropy! It's almost an ironic twist for the situation: the traitor among the Mauraders ends up helping out one of the Mauraders in the end. It's almost melonchaly-like. Nice twist! I can't wait to find out what happens to Remus though. I hope he's cured!~MALD
Author's Response: I'm glad you liked this chapter. I felt that Peter had no redeeming qualities, but at least his death should be helpful in some way to someone who once thought he was a friend.
I love it. I liked how you portrayed Bellatrix. Thats always how I imagined her. I found it terribly romantic about Hermione and Snape. Along with Remus and Tonks.!
Author's Response: Thank you. I'm happy to know you liked this. I wrote Bellatrix the way I saw her too. I think she's most certainly off in a big way LOL.
I loved the series - it made for delightful reading with a range of emotions. I do have one question. With my Muggle sensibilities, I wonder how old Raven and Odette were when they were married as Severus and Hermione were celebrating their 15th anniversary. Wouldn't that make Raven and Odette 15 years old? Other than that - I found this to be an exceptional series.
Author's Response: I tried to time it to where they were 18. I think I wrote that Hermione and Severus didn't get married right away, but I may have been off LOL. I'm glad you enjoyed the series, though.
I really enjoyed your series :) Made me laugh and tear up in several places.
“Really? It sounded like you two were…” she walked into the room and bent down slightly, “up to something,” she said as she arched a brow, much like her husband often did. “That’s scary,” noted Osiris. “Good lord, that’s really scary. You sounded just like Severus when you did that. You know, they say that when two people are together for so long they begin to take on each other’s habits and odd little quirks.” I'm sorry.. I have only made it this far and had to stop reading in order to pull myself out of the floor from laughing my butt off my chair!!! I LOVE THIS...I'm sure I'll love the rest of the chapter so forgive me.. I'll write again soon.
“Don’t look at me like that, you two. They may be your fathers, but you can’t tell me my Uncle Sev and Granddad Lucius aren’t two of the scariest bastards you’ve ever seen when they get pissed off.”... THAT WAS GREAT!!!! I usually post after reading the whole story but this is great!! Read the "The Long Wait" but for some reason I couldnt get logged in to review it.. so here I am.. chapter 24 in 'Wait' made me bawl!!! I almost didn't want to keep reading but then i saw your author notes.. so good job!! Ive read the other extension story about the Kat being born, that was good! So, now I'm reading about the kids and it is so cool how they have a little new "DA" thing going on!! LOVE IT!
Phew, finished that one. Great story, really gripping. Love your stuff.
Author's Response: Thanks for getting through it. I've strayed away from such long fics. I just don't have the time. But this was fun to write. Thank you for your great comments.
a portkey! how clever!
Author's Response: LOL, I figured the magazine was a sure thing Severus would want to look at. Thanks.
erm.. was that Andromeda? Too right that was graphic...but if she was stupified she wouldn't have been able to cry or anything, coz you're 'asleep' looking when you've been hit with Stupefy...ah well. getting your face peeled off does kinda wake u up =P
Author's Response: No, that wasn't Adromeda. It was just someone Peter found.
I don't know if i've mentioned it yet, but i really like all the kids names, and that there's a Malfoy in Gryffindor. That said, wonderful chapter (no surprise!) i'm excited to see what the plan is....10 again!
Author's Response: I'm glad you have been enjoying this. I haven't answered any reviews because these log in problems are so annoying. I wanted to make the kids names fun. Thanks for reading.
I LOVE IT! I love how Voldermort said Harry didn't have any more tricks up his sleeve and then Harry drew his mother's wand from his sleeve...that was great. Snarky b....and his hero!!! I loved that too! i loved ALL of it!!!!
Oh my gosh! I'm getting scared here...i can just picture Voldermort walking towards Hogwarts with swarms of Death Eaters marching behind him....it's frightening! perfect 10!
AMAZING! I love your stories. I can't wait to see how the children react! I'd probably, sit and stare, yell at him for being so stupid, or cry....hmmm probably all 3 actually. 10!
10 Voldermorts....tehe. 10!
