I reall loved it! I didn't think I would be able to like something in which magic wasn't the strongest thing, but after reading it I found it made a uge amount of sense and was realistically enjoyable. Keep up the good work!!!

Author's Response: Double post?

I would not say that I am a fan of the D/G 'ship, but I would say that I am a fan of dark, well-crafted, and original stories. Which means I am a fan of this fic. I am pretty new to MNFF, but this is the best story I have read so far here, and really just one best fanfics I have read in general. I loved the structure and tone. I don't even like Malfoy (or even Ginny much, to be honest), but I still enjoyed this story and what you did with the characters. You know you have a good piece of fanfiction when you get someone who doesn't even really like the characters it is about to enjoy it as much as I did this story. Thanks for sharing it.

Wow. This is a highly original plot! It was well written, and I just love the Draco Ginny pairing. Also, I am Jewish and wasn't at all offended by the "Holocaust" thing. The real Holocaust was caused by hate, and fear of those that are considered different. In this fanfic, you really showed how damaging and cruel intolerance is, and how it can happen anywhere, anytime. You also helped teach the importance of tolerance and love, which is a very important life lesson. So, all in all, great story.

i adore this fic!it's just so perfect.and it's really original, i mean these days most fics are big fluffy Harry/Ginny and James/Lily fics, or just your average war stories.but this is just so amazing.it's well written, you can feel the emotions, the plot is fantabulous, and everything is just perfect.not one thing is out of place.and the ending was beautiful.i really enjoyed ready this fic, and liked that firewhisky was representing magic, and all the muggles go nuts on wizards.it's all so different from most-almost all-fics.i don't even know how to explain it properly.bottom line is, i love this fic i think it's amazing.keep up the good work.=)

sheridan, this is a depressing drama. i dont quite understand how things got to be as bad as they were, or how ginny lost her magic and how firewhiskey staved her powers, and above all i dont appreciate your comments concerning the Holocaust. u took what was already a horrible scenario and, essentially, turned it into an anti-Semetic one as well. overall, this fic is a jumble of confusing plots with bad details and insulting non-fiction mixed in.

Author's Response: I am not anti-Semitic! I was trying to imply how awful the Holocaust was, and how it might happen again if there really were wizards in our society… If I offended you and confused you, I am sorry. I didn’t mean to do that at all.
