i love lilly and james together!!!!!!!
Author's Response: I know, they're so cute!
The connections were great, I knew who everyone was! Congratulations on another lovely fic---- Allie.
Author's Response: Yay! Thanks so much! I'm really glad I did it at least a small amount of justice. =D
My school JUST did this show for the fall production and I almost squealed when I saw this! How perfect!
Author's Response: Yay! It's completely my favourite Shakespeare play (although then again, the only one I don't like so far is Macbeth). I hope you enjoy it!
I love this story! And I agree about Lily and James being adoreable...
Author's Response: Aw, thanks, I'm glad! They ARE quite adorable together ... oh, James! *Adopts as son*
I studied this play last year, and I'm getting kind of worried that Lily'll want to kill Sirius and then James will agree. Argh! I hope that doesn't happen. Great story though! =]
Author's Response: Well, I don't know the play too well (as in, mostly just the film *guilty face*) so this is quite a light, loose, humorous version. No one will be planning actual murder, don't worry! I hope you enjoy the rest of the story and it's not a total disgrace to poor Shakespeare (who must get sick of everyone reinterpreting his plotlines into something completely unrecognisable ...)
i love trickery lies and decete..
i hate spelling... unless i use a wand!!!
oh no now i am babbling toodles
Author's Response: I'm not sure that quite counts as babbling ... sometimes I sit down to send a quick email to a friend about one tiny thing and end up sitting there for half an hour writing thousands ... but thank you for the review!
Excellent! The marauders really fit into this plot well don't they? I loved this! I think my favourite line was when James tried to compliment Professor McGonagall's hair. And thanks for making Wormtail do at least one good thing for his friends, i was beginning to think there was never any good in him until i read this fic. It's a shame they didn't suspend the three Slytherins over the lake then drop them in head first. Alls well that ends well.
Author's Response: =D That would be pretty funny. But in the actual play, when the bad guys get caught, they're just like, "Yeah, we'll deal with them later, let's have a party," so that's what I did here, too. There was definitely SOME good in Peter at this age, and for a long time after, until he just got corrupted far too badly and then couldn't get out of it. I'm glad you liked this, thanks for all your reviews!
This is one of the best stories I've read in a long time! My favorite part was when Lily said:
“Well then, what’s all this fuss about? You love her, you love him, she loves you, he loves you, everybody loves everybody, and the rest of us are rotting away while we wait for something to happen.”
Author's Response: I'm glad you liked it! It was a lot of fun modernising (or, Marauder-ising) such a fun play. I can't really be doing with the tragic historical Shakespeares where everyone dies and makes long speeches all the time, but I LOVE the comedies! It was loads of fun. So I'm glad you enjoyed it! Thanks for reviewing!
Great story. I loved it
Author's Response: Thanks so much!
Great first chapter. Cant wait to read on.
Author's Response: Have fun! I'm glad you liked it so far ...
i can't believe it! i left reviews at practically every chapter and not in the last one. :S
nice ending is all i want to say. :P
Author's Response: Well, I don't mind, you've reviewed now! Thanks, I'm glad you liked it!
awww i love itt!!!
i didnt get the part with wormtail at the end thoughh... :S
but still great writting!
Author's Response: Well, Peter had seen Bella, Snape, and Rodolphus (I think it was those three, anyway) and had used levicorpus to hang them from the air, because it could all have been avoided if they hadn't started messing it all up for everyone. But Sirius said "We'll deal with them later" and left them hanging there while they celebrated their various causes for celebration. That is because in the play, at the end, the schemers are arrested and brought to the Prince, but the Prince just says "Put them in the dungeons (or whatever) and we'll deal with them later, because now we're going to celebrate." Only in Shakespearean language. So yeah, that's what that was all about. Thanks for reviewing, I'm glad you enjoyed it!
fantastic story!! i dont know the play, but now i want too! i loved it, start to finish. :)
Author's Response: It's a good play. My favourite Shakespeare one. There's a good film of it, starring Emma Thompson (Trelawny) and Kenneth Brannagh (sp) (Lockhart) as Lily / James. Oh, and it also has Keanu Reeves as Bellatrix's part (yeah, her part was supposed to be a man's. Whatever.) But anyway, that's the film I watched when I got the idea for this, so that's the one I'd reccomend.
I luffs this one! I hope you post another fic soon!
I feel random :D
Author's Response: Yay! This one *luffs* you right back! Don't worry, I apparently feel random, too ...
Ah, what a nice ending! Sorry I haven't reviewed the last two chapters, but I haven't had the chnace to go on this site for a while. Looking forward to your next fic! :D
Author's Response: Yay! It's okay, I don't mind ... thanks for reviewing (finally ;D). Wheeeeee!
You did a brilliant job with adapting this to a Harry Potter fic. I really enjoyed the story, and the familiarity with two wonderful works of art. I know I have asked before, but just one more time I am going to ask, please oh please, write more stories. You have an amazing amount of talent and it should be utilized.
Thanks for the story. I hope to see another e-mail soon letting me know a new story has been posted. You know when it comes I will be here to read and review. Until then why donít you come check out my story and let me know what you think of it. See you in the reviews soon I hope. Whether itís at mine or another of yours.
Author's Response: =D Thanks, it's really great of you to say I have talent, it's really great to know people enjoy my stuff ... there's no better feeling! I'll definitely try and read your story sometime soon. Don't worry about other stories, because there's already a one shot in the queue! I know, I know. I work fast. =D Thanks, as always, for leaving me such great reviews, I really appreciate you input!
Okay. I actually did clap then, and my brother looked at me weirdly. That was great! I loved how there was the big plan, that didn't even go the way it was supposed too and they got back together anyway. *sighs*
You do such a brilliant job on you're stories, and I just hope that one day I can write as well as you. Congratulations!
Author's Response: Thank you! Although, if you really did just clap, I don't blame your brother for looking at you weirdly. But don't worry, because ne'er a day goes by when MY brothers don't give me a funny look ... I'm really glad you enjoyed the story, because I enjoyed writing it, too. My advice if you want to write well: Practice. It's not quite as overrated as you may think. It's taken me over two years to get this far! Thanks again, you're a great reviewer, and I'm always happy to hear from you!
yes aww the story is done, you should write a James a Lily story
Author's Response: I could. But I already have L.O.V.E, and if it works out, there may be a short sequel to that eventually. What I DON'T have is a Remus fic ... or a Peter one, for that matter. Well, we'll see, I guess. Thanks, as always, for your loyalty and your review!
oh pleeeaasse make a sequel!! i really want to see how you would write how lily and james go out..
Author's Response: Hmm ... well, I sort of do that to the end of my L.O.V.E story, and I do that a little bit in my Sirius fic. As for a sequel to this fic? No can do. It's based on Shakespeare, and to try and write a sequel would just be ... wrong. Like, trying to outdo ol' Shakesey ... it's too much for my poor mind to handle. But if you want more of my writing, I've got loads up! Thanks for reviewing, I'm really glad you seemed to enjoy it!
OH. MY. GODNESS. GRACIOUS. That was absolutely positively amazing! I was waiting forever for this chapter to get validated and now I believe I'm the first reviewer for this chapter, right? Well, if not, either way , fantastic work! I LOVED this fic! AMAZING!!!!!
Author's Response: Yes, I do believe you are. Congratualtions! I'm very glad you enjoyed it, as it was very enjoyable to write, too. I'm really glad you liked it, and I'm not some random crazy person wasting her time. At least it seems to have paid off! =D Thanks again for the great review.
