On the A/N, I feel your pain. I really liked this poem. It made me laugh a little, but it also made me feel kind of bad for Lily. However, as we know, Harry is eventually born, so they get over their hatred. Jolly good show mate. Great job.

This is a very well written poem. It has a steady beat and rhythym (meaning nothing seems out of place), and a strong rhyme. I love the way it tells of Lily's feelings - it's canon, believable, and amazingly well done.
My favorite part would have to be this:
The air around you should be noxious.
*giggles* It just seems perfectly Lily-esque. I hate it when authors portray Lily wrongly, but you've done it perfectly here.
My only nitpick would be at the ending. It was a bit sudden what happened, and the lack of rhyme sort of shook it up from the poem. But otherwise, this poem was very well written, believable, and amazingly done. Great job!

Author's Response: Thank you Kate! The inspiration for this poem, and why it sounded like Lily was so pissed off with James, was based on some really immature idiots at my school. A couple of months ago, some boys really insulted me to the point that I wanted to kill them. Well, I couldn't do that, but I was still fuming. Writing this poem really helped in dealing with my anger. I am so glad you liked this poem.
