(Ack! *is angry* *and late to review, which is why she is angry* *winks*)

This is a great acrostic. Yes, it is different from your other poems (hence the acrostic-ness of it), but it is different in a good way, and strangely refreshing. Change is good, of course.

I really liked this poem. I think you've portrayed the dementors amazingly well, without ever mentioning their name except in the acrostic vertical part (if that makes sense). I just thought it was well done.

The only nitpick I have is that every line ends with a period (basically), and it seemed too full a stop. But, the grammar isn't really the part that matters the most (it does matter, of course, but I think the substance of the poem is more important.)
