Chapter: The Portrait

I was always curious about how the talking portraits reacted to being portraits and how they moved from frame to frame. I thought this was a really creative interpretation.

Author's Response: Thank you for reviewing my story, especially because the story has been posted here so long. I'm glad you liked it, I consider it my best one-shot. I don't post on Mugglenet any longer. If you would like to read my other fics, they are posted on PhoenixSong(dot)net. My pen name there is MyGinevra. Peter

That was beautiful - I am bawling my eyes out as I'm typing! So touching.

Author's Response: Thank you! If you are interested in two novels I have written, they are posted on siye.co.uk, and harrypotterfanfiction.com. On those sites I use the pen name MyGinevra. I started to post one of them, Losing Each Other, on MNFF, but never finished it here. The second novel is called The Hog's Head. If you try them, I hope you enjoy them! Peter

Good story!

Author's Response: Thanks for your review. I don't post chapter fics (The Portrait is a one-shot) on MNFF any more because of artistic disagreements with the mods. One chapter fic, Losing Each Other (post-hbp), is partly posted on MN, but is completed on Sink Into Your Eyes (www.siye.co.uk) where my pen name is MyGinevra. I have another chapter fic there in progress, The Hogs Head (post-dh), if you're interested. --Peter

That was so sad and touching. Well, not really sad except in that Harry was lost until Ginny joined him. Brought a tear to my eye.

Author's Response: I'm glad it made you cry :-) but I hope it wasn't a sad tear. Harry and Ginny will always be together for me. Glad you liked the story, and thanks for the review.

Awww. That was sweet. I think you went on a bit long about how lost Harry felt- I began to get bored and flicked over a lot of it- but the story as a whole, especially the end, was sweet :)

Author's Response: Life (or death) without Ginny can be very boring :-)
