Awwwwww! It's so sweet! I love this story!
Such a cute story...and totally how a new mother-to-be behaves. I love how you have James and Lily's mother already know what is happening...just including them in the first place was awesome! It would have been great to know that they knew they were going to be grandparents, even if they never got to meet Harry...maybe they were his guardian angels since they didn't get to raise him or be with him as he grew. He sure needed some GREAT guardians after everything he went through! This was really well written and well thought out, too! 8)
Yay! This is so cute! James and Lily find out about Harry! :) Just a tiny thing, I'm not sure if it was intentional or not: when the healer calls Lily in, she calls her "Evans, Lily", but when she addresses her she calls her "Mrs. Potter". Such a nitpicky detail...
I really loved this story!
Wow, I was grinning at the whole thing with the wand pregnancy test turning blue... I couldn't help think about Muggle pregnancy tests, which also turn blue. Was that a coincidence? Lol. :) Nice!
Heeeeeeeeeeeeeeeey this is really very nice!
Oh, wow. This was so adorable! I have happy tears in my eyes! So cute and I think that James was very in character.
Oh, and his Mum coming over with the food. That was so motherly and sweet. If we would have seen his parents in the books thats how I would picture his mother. She was sweet yet firm.
Amazing job, my dear. This was truly wonderful.
How sweet! Minimal fluff and a whole lotta love. I usually don't read Lily/James (or romance, for that matter) but this was actually pretty good.
I absolutely LOVED this. James and Lily--especially Lily--are so IC. "Darn it!" *giggles* That just sounded so Lily. I have a cousin who is very ... artsy and earth-mother, and that's who Lily has always reminded me of. And James's innocent, "Would you like any help?" Perfect. Right on the money. And, so. You've got the characterization down pat.
One quick correction: It should be, "I just don't get [it.]"
And another. (I'm sorry! I'm just writing as I read...) You shouldn't put an exclamation point and a question mark together. I.e. "Pregnant!?" It should be one or t'other.
Oh, and the wonderful pregnancy test! What a simple way to do things; and, apparently, failsafe. *grins* Lucky Lily. And, hello Harry!
*giggles* "(out of sight, out of mind)" - James is such a boy. This seems to be the universal concept of a man's "tidying up." Very cleverly placed!
What a great story! I loved the parallel between the lovable, tender, clueless men and the all-knowing, intuitive, connected women. Their was just something so very real about this story. It could have been anybody.
Marvelous job, dear! And thank you again for the wealth of banners. *huggles*
Awww, so sweet!!! Lily's mood swings are hilarous!!! Great.
