Excellent little unexpected twist. I don't understand why he would have to cut off all ties with everyone. It is not like he would violate a trust and give away floo or porkey secrets of the South African ministry? But you explained his struggle well as to why he should go or stay home with his family or Hermione. The way that you set up the struggle it should be common sense what decision he should make? And c'mon not telling Hermione about what he plans to do is completely childess. But you left enough room for doubt in this excellent cliffie.

Author's Response: It is not for you or me to say why the ministry of SA is requiring the employee to cut off all ties, it just is what it is. I assimilate the struggle with what to do like that of the 3 Hallows, although it seems common sense to some, there should be annalysis before jumping to a decision. didn't you find it odd that all three wanted a diffrent hallow when the obvious choice (to me anyway) was the cloak. It was easily the most genuine, honest, safe and dependable choice. Just because something seems easy for you or I to decypher, doesn't mean another would see it that way. Additionally, haven't you ever been in a situation where it is just easierto keep something to yourself for a while instead of blabbing it all over and stressing all those around you that you care for too? that is why ron is reluctant to tell her.
