I seem to remember three young Gryffindors losing one hundred fifty points for their house in one shot. Professor Potter is very strict. No matter what his reasoning for the deduction and the detention, he should remember what it was like to be in school.
Iím not sure what they stole from the desk, but whatever it was, after being found out for stealing the records of the Slytherins they should know they would be prime suspects. I canít wait to see what they get up to next. And what Professor Potter does to them when he catches them.
I hope you are writing fast, because I really do want to know what happens next. Great job on this chapter and on the story as a whole. I am enjoying both of your stories immensely. See you at the next update for whichever updates first.

Author's Response: I'm working on the next chapter, but I've hit a dead end in part of the story and need to find a way around it...in the meantime, there's always "Deathly Hallows" coming out next Saturday and "Order of the Phoenix" coming out this Wednesday (or Thursday, if you aren't in the U.S.), so the next two weeks should be a very busy series of events in the Potter world...

The map makes an appearance at last. Iím glad you put the history of the hands it passed through to get to them in it was funny. The duo seems to be more like Fred and George then Harry and Ron, what with trying to break into Snapeís office and rifle through his files. Of course Hermione stole the ingredients for the Polyjuice Potion and I always thought that was really funny. Maybe its just her coming out in them.
Snape always said he had other things in his office to keep people out and to alert him when someone ignored this and went in anyway. Professor Potter tried to warn them about following the rules, and he gave them a chance to prove they could behave responsibly. Too bad they are too much like him when he was in school. Iím not surprised he took the cloak and the map from them, but I am wondering why he didnít ask them more questions about what they had been up to.
Detention with your father and you uncle doesnít seem to be a bad thing, until you remember Harry doesnít give preferential treatment to his family. I wonder what he will have them doing. Guess its on to the next to find out. Great chapter by the way.

Author's Response: Yeah, I always spend a lot of time editing my chapters to make sure the characters aren't out of canon...I'm glad it shows! Thanks for R/Ring!

Okay, now I feel a little stupid. I didnít think about using Veritaserum. I guess I should have but then again it is the magical world and they can do pretty much anything. Iím glad that Harry isnít showing favoritism to his family like some others would do if the situation were reversed.
Marilyn might not have been the student, but she probably knows which one it is. Of course knowing she would be interrogated by the staff and quite possibly snuck Veritaserum, she couldíve just take n an antidote before drinking or eating anything that someone else had access to.
Another great one and on to the next.

Author's Response: Wow, I repsonded to this within seconds of your posting! What a coincidence.

Author's Response: Now my "real" response...I will only go as far to say that it WAS a student in Slytherin (who else?), but I won't say which one...good luck figuring that one out! Thanks for reading/reviewing...I'll be expecting your next review within the next few minutes, lol...

Ron and Hermione coming to the school was a nice surprise. I know you wrote earlier that they came to the school often, but the best time would be of course the day something happy happens to the duo. Trevor seeing a DE and running for McGonagall is a little scary, but at least this time it was only a student and nothing bad happened except the student being suspended. Kinda reminds me of Malfoy and cronies dressing up as dementors during third year. Maybe it is Marilyn recreating her fatherís greatest hits.
Using any of the glamour charms on each other would allow them to be able to interrogate Marilyn, but I think those charms are a little too advanced even for them. Not sure what else they could do except use the cloak and pretend to be ghosts that really are invisible. Guess Iíll have to wait and read it.
Another great one and now, guess what Iím going to sayÖ thatís right. On to the next.

Author's Response: lol...thanks for reading/reviewing!

Leave it to the dastardly duo to make their own version of tryouts. I absolutely loved the way you had them showing off their skills. Harry being in the stands because he knew what they would do was funny, and Iím glad he helped Hodge find a way around the rule for them to be on the team.
Excellent chapter! I seem to be giving you a lot of compliments on these chapters. I know it takes quite a bit of work to get them just right, and then to get them posted. I believe you are deserving of all compliments as long as you continue to write everyone as well as you are doing. On to the next.

Author's Response: I'm so glad you think I deserve them...after all, I don't get much praise nowadays as I enter high school. Well, I'm glad you like it!

Professor Potter is a really good teacher, but then what else would he be, given that he taught a class in his fifth year? The wallpaper idea was a good one and I like that he didnít single out the Slytherin students to punish or take points from. I guess that would be too much like Snape for him to handle.
Marilyn reminds me a lot of Draco and I can picture her in my mind, a female version of him. You are doing a great job on this one and I am on to the next.

Author's Response: Yeah, Marilyn is one of the easier characters to write, because she is a lot like her father...well, thanks again, and I'm also "on to the next"...review, that is. :)

Oh boy, mass breakout from Azkaban. Not the best news to hear first thing in the morning. Harry telling the boys to heed McGonagallís instructions and not use the cloak was really good. The boys thought they could pull one over on dear old Harry but they forget who he is and what he did in school.
Marilyn is very proud of her father. Iím amazed at the pride all of the children of Death Eaters has for their parents. In the books and in fanfiction.. Knowing they are out and on the hunt for revenge should have Harry and the remains of the Order very uneasy.
Snape should be a bit more worried about the escapees than the contents of a cauldron in class. But then again he has always cared more for making the lives of anyone with the surname of Potter or Weasley a living hell.
Great chapter, now on to the next.

Author's Response: Thanks for reading!

The first day of classes is always the hardest. Not just because of the homework but because they have to get used to the routine of class and homework.
I really like that you have given Trevor a backbone. His father wasnít the best at standing up for himself, but whoever his mother is and with the fact that Neville finally found his backbone made for a stronger child in Trevor. Wow, howís that for a convoluted sentence? Anyway, Hagrid should be given the title of counselor for the students. He spends a lot of his time listening to troubles and advising them on what he thinks they should do.
You are really doing a great job so far, and I canít wait to keep reading. But since it is almost midnight, I think Iíll get some sleep and read more tomorrow.

Author's Response: Thanks for reading! I really look forward to your reviews, because you give such insight and I have more to respond to than just "plz update soon" or something...can't wait until you read on tomorrow! Thanks again!

Things have changed at Hogwarts and not all in a good way. McGonagall seems to be a bit more strict than she was, and that is saying something. Having Harryís son in his first year seems like a good time to ban Invisibility Cloaks, seeing as that is when Harry received his.
The Sorting Hat didnít sing, was that because you didnít want to have to write the song? Or is something else going on? Canít wait to see what the duo does next.

Author's Response: Oh, the Sorting Hat song...I just forgot. Maybe I'll write one if I have some spare time, but I'm in summer school, so...anyway, thanks for R/Ring!

Re creating the first trip on the train was really good. I really enjoyed the by play between the duo with Marilyn and Trevor.
Getting to the school and seeing the castle for the first time must really be an awe inspiring sight. Especially for an eleven year old that has been looking forward to it for his or her entire life.
Why doesnít Hagrid know what has been going on in the loves of Harry/Ginny and Ron/Hermione? It seems as though he would know all about the children of his favorite students and of the DADA teacher.
Anyway, great chapter, and I am on to the next.

Author's Response: Well, it IS Harry's first year teaching DADA, and Hagrid may have been busy elsewhere...I dunno why he doesn't know...anyway, thanks for reviewing!

I have been so focused on your other story that I completely forgot you were writing this one too. I am so sorry.
Having the kids named after them in reverse is a little confusing when you are talking about the kids while the adults are there, but overall, great beginning to what I am sure will be a great story.
You have Molly so much like what I expect her to be when she is that age with grandchildren that itís a little scary. The chart was helpful for not only Molly but with letting us readers know who belongs to whom and how old they are.
So far so good, and Iím looking forward to the next chapter.

Author's Response: I don't mind at all! Just having you read ONE of my stories is good enough. Yeah, the adults vs. kids name thing is a little confusing, but it clears up a bit at Hogwarts...and Molly's chart was mostly to help myself remember, but I suppose you readers as well...thanks for reviewing!

Author's Response: You mean Veritaserum? Read on and find out...and yeah, older Harry gave Ron the Marauder's Map.
