That was such a sweet story, if only JKR would use it for Deathly Hallows, then I would be a very happy camper. I liked how Draco and his father faced off in the end, because I am certain that Lucius will play a role in the final battle. I also believe that things will not end well for him there. I also enjoyed how Hermione had such inner strength during the battle and resolve to end it once and for all. Excellent job!

And in the end, Harry overthrew the Dark Lord, destroying him utterly, bringing their saga to an end." I like this story, but there is not nearly enough detail. I think it skimms through the important parts just so it can get to the "happily ever after" faster.


Author's Response: I totally agree with you. This story was written as an exchange, and the girl I wrote it for wanted something mostly post-war, so I didn't want to weigh it down with battle details. Also, I'm working on another, longer story that's pretty much all battle, so I included as little action in this one as I could get away with. Thanks for your honesty, though! I do appreciate it!!

I enjoyed this very much! It definetely shows another side to Draco that we've not seen (yet) in the books. The end of HBP certainly leaves the possibility of summat like in this story happening, at least in terms of Draco not siding with the Death Eaters. Nice writing! :)
