I really enjoyed the story. I think you did a good job with charactorization, I could see those charactors interacting like that. I espeacially loved the way Snape and Harry interacted! I really like the twist with Harry and his lack of magic too! I can see something big happening to him in book 7. Great job!

Author's Response: Thanks for your kind comments. We are all losing the magic along with Harry and I wanted to write a story to note that.

I liked the story, but it seemed quite rushed. For example Harry meeting with the Weasleys right after losing the ability to do magic, and going about his day normally.

I did enjoy the interaction between Snape and Harry. I wouldv'e preferred this to be a chaptered fic, going at a slower pace.

Author's Response: Thanks for the useful critique. I maybe should add something to imply the cathartic reflex that inspired a picnic so close on the heels of bad events (that I neglected to specify in detail because I was trying to write a one-shot and that's really tough for me).
