I really love this story. It was very interesting.
In the begining of the story when she said that someone was outside, it remined me of one of the Alien vs. Preditor movies. Anyways. In the story, it was very interesting. It was never boring. I was very entertained.
I love the idea for this story. It has tons of things mixed into it, which makes it really good. The ending is amazing. That's probably the best part.
Sorry it took so long to respond, Ive been off the sight for a while. I'm glad you liked it, I enjoyed writing it and actually wrote it in 1 sitting.
o my god i loved the story. it made me cry at the end and while reading it the phone rang beside me and scared me half to death. that was written amazingly well.
thats funny, sorry but the phone thing made me giggle. It was actually storming outside when I wrote this, tornado watch actually. I'm glad you liked it.
ahem, erm, sorry about that, should probably explain first...
I was a fan of Snape's_Talon & her CotH series. I knew that it was moving away from this site, but I foolish didn't bookmark the new locations... and now, coming back from a term at Uni, I can't find it :'(. I remembered your penname from the reviews... Could you be nice enough to tell me where this wonderful story has gone? Please?
PS. Also I read this story and it's Good... I'd initially thought there were too many adjectives and descriptions but they were all well written and formed a very good flow once the reader was 'into it' -very good stuff. And the emotional impact is awesome btw...
i love this story. the award was well awarded.
That was...wow. Very good. Exceptionally descriptive and quite creative...I've never read a fanfic quite like this before. Great writing!
*tears roll down*
Author's Response: *hands over tissues and a chocolate bar*
Oh my goodness. This was just . . . amazingly written but utterly terrifying. The way that you describe the whole seen with the storm and lightening, it just paints a horrible picture in your mind and scares you senseless as you read. And that lullaby! Gosh, it was just so very sad and made that scene all the more sad to read.
Your words are wonderful though, and you have handled a difficult story with care. I loved the ending and the ‘too’ made my eyes well with tears.
This really isn’t a very good review, as you left me speechless and my head is killing me, but I assure you, that I really liked this story and can definitely see why it is a featured one.
Thanks Haylee. As much as this story terrified me it was fun to write. and this is a great review, thank you.
OH MAN! haha. At first I thought it was confusing, then I realized in my panic to find out what was going to happen I was skipping lines! But it was wonderful. Scary and wonderful!
Skipped lines? You can't tell the author that you skipped lines. LOL. I'm glad you liked it.
Wow. I have always heard people rant and rave about this fic, but I have just now gotten around to reading it. And I must say, they definitely had a reason to rant and rave.
I love the twist at the end. It totally made the story. It was the cutest thing how they said "too" to each other. Such a personally lovely tidbit that makes the fic just that much more unique. Really, great job with the originality. I have never and will never read anything like this again, I'm sure. I mean, that's why it's featured, right? :D You did a great job with the emotion, as I'm sure you've heard. You mixed horror with love and sadness to such a perfect degree that I am rendered (relatively) speechless.
I think you also hit head on with the Harry you wrote. Going through the pain and resorting to whatever he could once his wand was lost. Great Harry, seriously. I rarely say that either because Harry is the hardest to write (IMO), so I have the toughest judgment on his character in fanfics.
Anyway, great job all around :D
Rant and rave? Is that a bad thing :( or a good thing :)? Thanks for the review though and to say that I did a great job on Harry is very humbling because your right, he is one of the hardest to write. I actuall modled 'dad' Harry after my own hubby and me and how we react when our kids are hurt. I don't know really know where this story came from and I havn't really been able to write anything quite like it since. I am hoping it was because of the raw emotions of my own 'Catherine' getting hurt, and if that was it, then I hope to never write anything this good again (meaning I don't want my kids to get hurt just so I can write good stories.)
Oh my god!
I was perfectly fine until that last word! That is the saddest story ever, but it's very good!
Oh my, this scared the wilikers out of me. Everything is detailed very well, it makes me want my own little Catherine one day.
this sooooooooooooooo sad...but i printed it off and showed it to all my friends!
That is a big compliment to hear that you printed it and showed it to people, thank you.
it is really good!
That was very different then I expected, I have to admit I was expecting a dragon! lol. Good job though. Sad ending but I liked it.
OH MY GOD...really well written, though the ending is a little disappointing...I was more hoping that he would just escape to the burrow and live happily every after, but that's just my optimism...either way, it was very good and very sad.
It was sad and lovely... buetiful and cruel

Awe that was the cutest thing. Pretty frightening too. I loved the way it ended, it was completely unexpected. Fantastic, really fantastic
Horrifying, and very well written. You described everything that was happening in such awesome detail, but the story and the action didn't get lost in it. Really, really great job.
wow fantastic job! The ending gave me chills.
