holy crap, his life flashed before my eyes. Really great done.
Author's Response: Thanks! Glad you liked it. :-)
Hey, this is well done.
It was wonderfully descriptive, and I enjoy those stories where you can see within someone's mind, and really be able to fill their shoes.
This story is a great example of, in the words of Atticus Finch, "You never really understand a person until you consider things from his point of view-until you climb into his skin and walk around in it"(Lee 30).
Although there were a few nitpicky plot inconsistencies (such as that Hepzibah Smith was poisoned not murdered in a bloody fashion), and that Voldemort never seemed to me like the romantic type, I enjoyed your details and anecdotes that mark careful reading and amazing perception.
Author's Response: I do appreciate you taking the time to review my story, and I am sorry it took me so long to reply back. Thank you for reading, and I do appreciate the concrit, and that you liked the story overall. :-) It makes me very happy to know that.
DIE VOLDYKINS DIE!!!!!!! MUHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!
Author's Response: Awww... don't you like the Dark Lord? :-(
*touches cheek* OMG! Am I crying??? I am crying over Voldy?! Okay, your fics are way too... erg! How can I describe this... Okay, we'll stick with the fact that you made me cry about Voldemort dieing. Yeah, that should suffice...
Author's Response: There's nothing wrong with crying over Voldy. :-) Even evil Dark Lords need to be shown a little compassion now and then. :-)
Really good! It was nice to see it from Voldy's point of view for a change! (I also loved the Amy Benson bit :D)
Author's Response: Yeah, Voldy needed it told from his PoV too. :-) (Glad you liked the Amy Benson bit, ;-) ) I'm actually considering a separate sequel to this fic. Can't say too much on it at the moment.... *g*
An interesting point of view. I liked how you made Harry a bit of a bad guy in a sense. Nice work!
Author's Response: Thanks! :-) When I was writing it, I kind of played with the idea of doing a little role reversal or sorts. :-)
interesting point of view.. I liked it
Author's Response: Glad you liked it. :-)
Author's Response: Thanks!
I Love IT!
Author's Response: Thanks! :-D
Alright, and you knew when you wrote this that some people would write the same thing, but no way in HELL would Tom Riddle end up in wizard heaven!!!! Especially after all the evil he has conmmited in his lifetime, for wish he never once asked for forgiveness. But I think I understand what you meant, it's just hard to swallow considering who it is were talking about. I like the way you illustrated the events of his life though. What would turn a person evil? Or if what he believes is evil only cuz it goes against the grain of "modern sociaty"? And what makes he's beliefs wrong? The lengths he was willing to go in order to enforce them? Im just saying that in the grand scheme of things, he didn't deserve this either, but thats another discussion. Wonderfully written.
Author's Response: Oh I know that Voldy isn't going to wizard heaven, not after all the murder he's commited. I just wanted him to meet his mom at least once more before he got sent down south. I guess I should have clarified a little more on that aspect. :-) But thanks for R&Ring, though!
This was really good; I actually kind of feel sympathy for him. You made him seem human, which is something he's not really in the books. This way we can kind of see how he falls. I think you did an excellent job.
Author's Response: Thank you. :-) I'm glad you liked the story. I was worried that I rushed through the memories too much, but I guess that's just me being paranoid, lol. I definitely wanted to show in my fic that he was human at one point in his life, and not the evil being he is now.
