Brilliant! You definitely painted a picture with words. Very descriptive and detailed, and Sirius was perfect. You wrote this missing scene so believably, I was tense the entire time I was reading. The ending flowed seamlessly into what we know from the book - well done!!
Good luck - I think you've got a winner on your hands! :-)
Author's Response: Thanks for the good luck. I'm happy that you liked the way that I wrote this. I lvoe missing scenes and Sirius. I love Jo for the ending, what was said about him laughing was really the place that made me think about writing a story about this.
This was a wonderful story. I loved how use used what they had said that Peter, Sirius, and Hagrid said in the books. It's really good. I enjoyed reading this story.
Author's Response: I'm glad that you liked it. I really loved writing it. I'm a stickler for cannon and so was my beta so that really helped me this time. Thanks for reviewing.
I love this story. You wrote it so well and like the other reviewers, I love the way that you characterized Sirius. It is so dead on and him. It's as though you funneled Jo, but did it in your own way and had your own voice. I was enthralled from start to finish.
One paragraph that really caught my attention and gave me goosebumps was the one where he found James' body. It was so freaky and well written.
I was also laughing near the end when I saw the line about Fudge putting Peter's finger in a box. But, that just might be a reflection of my weird sense of humor. Really wonderful job. Keep on writing.
Author's Response: Thank you! I'm glad that you liked it so much. You've got my other fic that I'm working on so you know that I'm writing away. So happy that you liked pompous Fudge.
Sarah, this was a wonderful missing moments one-shot. You captured Sirius' emotions perfectly. Well done!
Author's Response: Thank you. I love writing Sirius. This is really a big compliment for me coming from you. You've got so many great stories up.
Wow Sarah this is wonderful! I love readng missing moments and you did this really well. I was pulled right into the scene and even got goosebumps at one point. I don't have a bunny for this challange so I really hope you win. Keep writing and fill up your authors page or in Kumy's words, write another one, enter as many of the challanges as you can. Good job my friend, I'll raise a butterbeer to you.
Author's Response: Thanks for the vote (gives an aww shucks look because you aren't a judge). I'm crossing my fingers until judging. (Well, maybe not the whole time. After all, judging is in May). I'm glad that I had an effect on you and that you liked the story. Thanks for the review. *Clinks own butterbeer bottle against your raised one.
Awww! It's finally up!
I'm so happy for you, Sarah!
I already told you this, but I loved your characterization of Sirius. It's so on the dot. And I love how you have him laugh at the end due to the situation...it's so him.
I'm so happy for you, and that it's up. And I'm glad it fit into the Spring Challenge! Yay! Good Luck! *crosses fingers*
BTW: Thanks so much for recommending me as a beta in the beta boards! *hugs*
Author's Response: Well, J.K. made up the laughing, but it was a great place to go from. I'm happy that it's up too. I'm glad it's finally up too. It took a long time, but I'm happy with the results. You're welcome for the recommendation; you deserved it. You were great.
Yay! It's up! Congradulations, well done, you know I love it so I thought I'd let everyone know that it's an awesome story!!! Good luck!!
Author's Response: Yay! It's my first review. Thank you, you've been great through everything. Glad you like the story.
