This chapter seemed kind of rushed. It wasn't as detailed as your other chapters, but I still loved it.

I don't underestand James, I mean doesn't he love Lily??? Or was he not really visiting becasue it hurt him to see her like that? Did James just give Lily chocolates or something, because if he did, I would have expected something better.
Author's Response: During the war, everyone was all "let's get married before we die!" and Calvin joined in on that, just like the Weasleys and eventually the Potters, to an extent. That's my explanation for that. James loves Lily, of course - he wasn't visiting because he believed that it hurt her to be around him/it hurt him to be around her and know that she "belonged" to someone else. And he didn't give her chocolates. Of course not. He gave her earrings that matched her eyes and probably cost him more than my house is worth.
