This is an excellent story! Before reading this, I had honestly never considered Snape/McGonagall a real pairing. This, however, really gives the ship some substance. Please, do keep writing this aerodynamic plot - this cliffhanger is horribly suspenseful!

Author's Response: Oh yes, I know, the age difference.. that's what makes this pairing both so hard to write about and so interesting. After all, what are 40 years difference in the wizarding world? But then, of course it's just very unusual that she's the older one. Everybody believes Minerva/Albus stories where he's twice her age. Well, I thought I'd write one wher she's twice the age of the man - and Snape and Minerva work together so beautifully.

this promises to be quite interesting. i'm already becoming absorbed in this story and i look forward to the next chapter.
the interactions between characters are done well, as is writing from the backseat of mcgonagall's mind, a POV i rarely see.

this is a very interesting aproach to the situation and i think that it could be a very fantastic story when you really get into it. i think that you would be wise to use mm to be the order leader and the rest i am really hoping to read as soon as you post.
