Gina, when you had mentioned your idea for this story to me, I wondered how you could pull it off. I have to say that I LOVE the end results. I was crying from the second line, all the way to the end. It was very touching and heartwrenching. I loved every minute of it!! :) Cyns

Author's Response: Aw, don't cry! *hands out Kleenex* You are not the only one who wondered how this would work, several others did as well. ;) I'm glad I pulled it off!! Thank you so much for stopping to read it, as sad as it is. I really appreciate the lovely review. *turnip hug* ~Gina :)

omg that is so depressing...

Author's Response: Yes, it is, in a way. On the other hand, they got to say good-bye, and they are both moving on peacefully. Thank you for reading this story and leaving a review! ~Gina :)

a very fitting tale. never have I been so moved by such writing. I was in tears when ron reched out. simply lovely, and beautiful. This one should have been included in the Feb. one shot. It would've won. Such talent in writing....continue with your excellent writing...please.

Author's Response: Hi there! Thank you for the wonderful review. I am so happy this story moved you, even to tears. It wasn't included in the challenge because it really didn't fit the prompt. I had a feeling I was stretching it, but I had a very strong visual image of Ron stepping through the veil to say good-bye to Hermione so I went with it. I absolutely intend to keep writing, and I have many other stories I hope you might read sometime. Thanks again for reading this one and for the lovely review!! ~Gina :)

Author's Response: It is sad - bittersweet is the word I think you are looking for. I don't know what came over me! I hope you liked it - thanks so much for the review!! ~Gina :)
