Chapter: Chapter 1

A very intriguing read. I enjoyed it a lot. The best part of the story was Flamel and Dumbledore's conversation - I felt the dream dragged on a little. But overall, a very well-written and engaging story to read. Well done!

Author's Response: Thank you for the review! Wow, this story has not been read for a while. I'm glad you enjoyed it. I have to agree the dream dragged, but I wanted it to have a very specific form - a parallel to when Harry goes after the Stone - and worked hard to stick with it. I'm glad the rest of it was more engaging, especially the end. I think Dumbledore and Flamel would have made very interesting partners to read about! Thanks again! ~Gina :)

That's so horrible. Knowing you are going to die, and doing it willingly. I can't imagine... this was really well written. Great job.

Author's Response: Hello abbs866! Thanks for reading this story, it was feeling a bit forgotten! I worked hard on creating the maze for Nicholas's dream so I am thrilled you read it and enjoyed it. Thanks so much for the great review. It is sad for Nicholas, but he must have made the choice to destroy the Stone, and it must have been difficult; this is just a possible reason why. THanks again for reading it, I appreciate the review!! ~Gina :)

Chapter: Chapter 1

Excellent job! All of the creatures that Nicholas encountered were very imaginative, and I loved how the obstacles Flamel faced paralleled those the trio faced. I was gasping all the while as Flamel watched the vision in the pool, so, needless to say, that was well done. Super-duper! :D

Author's Response: Thank you so much for reading this story!! I am so glad you enjoyed it, thank you for the wonderful review. I'm also glad you noticed the parallels to the what the trio was going through at the time, it too me a while to work it all out. I'm glad the vision worked as well, since it motivated Flamel to destroy the stone. Thanks again for reading this story and for the lovely review!! ~Gina :)

Chapter: Chapter 1

Beautifully done, Gina! The maze was fantastic--I love how it reminded me partly of the 3rd task of the Triwizard Tournament, partly of obstacle course-filled chamber in SS, and still maintained a wonderful originality. Flamel's vision was chilling and actually made me tear up a bit when you talked about the Death Chamber. I wish you the BEST of luck in the challenge...this is my favorite entry in this category, I must say!

Author's Response: Hi Wicked Angel! Thank you so much for the amazing review!! You are too kind. *blushes* I'm really glad you enjoyed this story. I'm thrilled you picked up on the similarities between this maze and Harry's journey toward the Stone in SS/PS. I had a line in the second part where Dumbledore remarked on it as well but didn't think I needed to hit people over the head with it - and I was right! The vision is horrible, I certainly hope it doesn't happen that way! Thank you so much for reading this story. I really appreciate the wonderful review!! ~Gina :)
