I never give much thought to the extraneous characters, but this was well written and very good.
When the relationship ‘fell apart’ I didn’t give Cho any more attention until J.K. had her show up for reference points. I was curious when I read the summary and decided to read this. I’m glad I did, because you showed that friendships count in the ‘Potterverse’ that aren’t front and center. I really enjoyed this look into the sidelines, and I really liked the fact that you didn’t use a riddle or a test question to get into the Ravenclaw common room. Even though technically it’s supposed to be that way, I prefer just plain passwords.
Great job, and I’ll be back to read more soon.


Author's Response: Thanks -- I always rather liked Cho, so it was nice to be able to write a fic which showed her in a positive light! (Although I must confess, I modified the Livejournal version to take the non-password into account -- of all the ways the story might have been jossed, that was the most surprising. :D)
