this is really good. You should definitely write a sequel!

Author's Response: I'm flattered, and just might write a sequel. Thanks for your review. =)

I think it was very well written you have very good ideas. One thing that I might've done, to kind of complete the story, would be maybe to make Remus come in after her and offer some encouraging words. But I can see why you ended it like that, so it's alright.

Author's Response: Er...actually, I really did mean to make a sequel, and this has been so embarrassingly long in the works (it sat in my computer getting dusty for about three months after it was done as well) that when I first wrote it, I was planning a Lupin/Tonks series based on Beatles songs. Now the series thing is disabled, so I've lost a lot of enthusiasm for the project. But maybe someday I'll write a sequel...

I like this one. It's very well-written. Tonks and Lupin are perfectly in character, and it fits with the HP plot. Well Done!

Awww, poor Tongs, great story, but wish you would have written more. . .

Author's Response: Heh. After comments like this, I just maybe could be persuaded... ;)

Great job! A lovely, refreshing, new take on the whole ‘ship. And I’m not even a Beatles fan :D

A thought struck Tonks as she walked aimlessly. You wouldn’t have minded if Remus had picked you up. That was true. Remus would be walking next to her quietly, ready to talk if she was ready, not fussing like Molly or trying to act as though nothing was wrong.
*nods* Good characterisation – both on Remus, and on Tonks as she thinks about Remus. Sometimes, the most comforting thing you can do for someone is just to be there.

For some reason, Tonks’ felt ultra-sensitive in that elbow all of the sudden — it tingled oddly, though not unpleasantly.

Remus’s little lecture is so sweet. It’s very true – any one person could have changed the entire course of events by any of a thousand different actions, so no one, including Tonks, has “the” blame for Sirius’s death. It’s very like Remus to be realistic about this and to comfort Tonks with the simple truth, not just saying nice things or fluffing her ego.

“It’s an unrequited love thing. You could probably help me if it wasn’t for the wretched fact that it’s you that I’m mooning over, no pun intended.

“Nothing would make me happier than making you happy, Remus. I wish I could. I can see by the way that you’re about to drop your teacup that I’m not doing anything but paralyzing you.

I’m not sure how much like Tonks this is. I can’t really see Tonks using “wretched” in quite this sense – not that she wouldn’t know the word, but that it’s not her way to use it. It’s a good part, Tonks’s revelation, but the whole thing sounds a little more like a written revelation and less like Tonks speaking.

Nice touch with Tonks's hair.

I think my favourite thing about this story is the flow. It’s not stilted, the atmosphere is very…normal. Low-key. You’re not trying too hard, and it’s a clean narrative. The song’s woven in nicely – as part of the story itself – so that it’s not at all disruptive to the storyline. Everything makes sense where it is, spelling and grammar are great. It even fits in canon (which isn’t necessary, but is a fun touch, to work something very not-canon into the timeline). Excellent! Write more! :)

Author's Response: *Would hug you if possible* This is the BEST review ever! I really do love hearing what everyone loves and didn't like much. And THANK YOU honestly for the constructive criticism *hugs again*. I am so glad you liked it overall! And you even gave a review of the plot, characterization, etc. You made my day!!! (No, really) =)

My favourite is Ringo, too. ^_^

Oh, have you ever seen this? It's a Harry Potter/Beatles filkstravaganza!

Anyway, I forgot to mention that I thought that it was interesting that Remus had already turned down Tonks by the time she got out of the hospital. For some reason, I'd always imagined it to happen much later.

Author's Response: Wow. Just...I can't believe someone went through all the Beatles songs and did that. I started laughing out loud when I got to "When I'm Voldemort" to "When I'm 64." It

Dude! I had to read this because I'm a massive Beatlemaniac (there definitely aren't enough teenaged Beatlemaniacs out there-- my friends think I'm nuts), and anyone who can combine my Beatlemania and Pottermania is brilliant.

Well, you are. This was adorable, touching, and emotional, and your Remus was sweet, funny, lovely, and perfect. Keep writing!

Author's Response: There are NOT enough Beatlemaniacs. There just aren't. I completely agree. =) And thank you, I'm glad you liked it! I don't think I'm brilliant, but it's nice to know that someone thinks I am!

Hee Hee
I'm so excited not only a fellow Remus/Tonks fan but a Beatles fan too!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Ahhhh! How simply wonderful.
Good story, even though I have too admit the only reason I even read it was for 'Here comes the Sun'. But it turned out really good.
PS: one other thing I want to Know, Do you think Paul is dead ?

Author's Response: Thanks for reading it! It's nice to know I'm not the only fan of both out there =) Interesting that the title was what caught your eye; I'm glad you thought it was good. Hmm...I don't know much about that whoel thing. I would say, sure, he's alive, or he's got an alarmingly dedicated impersonator out there =)
