Chapter: The street lamp

WOW. Excellently written chapter. I love it -- I mean, you wrote it all so well! It's so maturely and clearly written, with a smooth feel to it almost like you're watching it happen in a movie.

Chapter: The street lamp

Wonderful first chapter! I love this. The suspense was thrilling, and your use of language and imagery are beautiful. The pacing was very good as well.

Your character Miss Bennet seemed pretty good, but it looks as though the baby has the potential to become a bit of a Mary-Sue. I'm not saying she necessarily will, but you need to be careful with her.

Still, this is really good so far. I look forward to your next chapter!

Author's Response: Hi there! I am so glad you liked the first chapter, I've never really written anything except for term papers, so I wasn't sure what to expect. As for the Mary-Sue.... I had to look up what that meant, much to my embarassment. after finally finding that bit-o-information out, I really dont want Belle to turn out that way. So if you're reading along and it starts to look that way... let me know..and I'll eh..idk, give her ebola or somthing to bring her back down to the mortal relm. lol thanks for the review! -Mel

This is fantastic! Your writing is so smooth and lovely, and it paints beautiful, haunting pictures. I love your word choice, and ... I'm already captivated! What is going to happen? Who is this Miss Bennet, and why does she have special powers? Wow. I'm not sure what else to say ... Just ... update as soon as you can! I know you obviously just got this up, and I know from experience that there are lots of issues with submission and writing, but let me assure you that I love your story and I can't wait to see what happens! Keep up the fantastic work! I think I'm going to have to read this again now ...
