O.M.G. I have spent the last 3 days reading every single fanfic written by you and they are all absolutely, utterly, amazing. The best fanfics I've ever read (by light years). You. Are. A. Genius.
This stuff is brilliant - the only thing better being JK Rowling's works and that is because she is pretty much *god* to me. You are so talented.

I know you said this would be the last fan fic ever.... but honestly, I wish you would write more. And that is the sign that you can write a story.

warning to fellow readers: don't eat lunch before you read this chapter.
pretty gory chapter, perhaps a tad too much.
but after finishing the story, this chapter was necessary, no matter how gory it was, to demonstrate the power of the nightshades and thus show how amazing and heroic the heros are who defeated them.

You are an amazing writer and should so deffinitaly look into doing some stuff yourself...like original righting...i would also like to ask if you could add a little more romance to the books but other thatn that im in love with them!! Wow...Just Wow. This was one of the most detailed and complex stories I have ever had the pleasure to read. It's taken me three days to complete and during that time it consumed my every thought. There were so many factores to consider and once they solved one mystery another ten grew in it's place. I love the thought of Rathius being in the know, although he and Rogan do scare me. Rogan seems to be such a dark character and whatever he's planning concerning Hogwarts and the three boys is worrying, but Rathius indifference is much more so. He has the ability to stop his brother and yet he sits back and lets most things run their course. Ras is my favourite of the three brothers, he at least sounds as though he is on the right side. There is so much of this story I love, particularly your giving Ron the lead role for once, I knew his character could be so much more than he's been given credit for. I think my favourite chapter was 'The Nightshades', although it was very difficult to choose just one. I just thought the dueling between the Nightshades and the parents was beautifully written. You really portrayed the connection between the characters, as well as the characters themselves, perfectly. I know you were planning on this series being so much longer, and it's a real shame you are cutting it short, but I guess fan fiction could take over your life if you let it. Anyway, I just thought I'd say how well you ended the tale, despite the many loose ends and the huge shadow looming over the three boys and whichever other joins them, having Ron understand that he and the others are grown ups now and their time has passed was a brilliant place to leave it. I will however try to access your blog, my mediocre skills on the web permitting. Thank you very much for sharing your writing, you have a wonderful talent and i hope you continue to nurture and develop it.

Author's Response: Well, luckily you can at least check your work. One thing I KNOW I covered in the aftermath essays is the full significance of what goes on after and I explain what Rogan was working on in much more depth. Anyway, I'm glad you came back and finished, and hope you read the Epilogue and come hang out at ADITMO from time to time. Considering you are one of the oldest readers, it's good to see you finally make it across the finish line. Thanks a bunch!

Author's Response: Never got to that one. Last time I tried playing DII the furthest I got was the third world, I think. That's one of those games where I say... you know, I'm going to go back there and beat it, and it never happens. It's interesting that you bring up DII though because if you carefully look at the Necromancer character and look at Rathius again, you might see something interesting.
