wow, that was really good!! it gave me shivers! that seems like the sort of thing that neville would say! i loved this line:He was scared, so scared, but wrapped about in his innate gentleness and sweet disposition, Neville had a core of steel. that is an awesome line!
Exactly the kind of courage Neville possesses, eh? I liked to see Neville growing and learning to go on and be brave - this fic is very heartening in many ways! The bits of the quote throughout really add, too, as it describes Neville so well. Plus, I love how you start and end with his parents; those scenes really show Neville's never ending courage and hope! Wonderful! :D
That was so beautiful!! I loved it! No one ever gives Neville the credit he deserves. Ohhh, thank you for such a beautiful story!
OMG! This was so beautifull, you really show why Neville is in Gryffindor and you do excellent character develpoment...all of your stories are gorgeous...you do such an excellent job of portraying those feelings and facts that matter so much yet are rarely touched on, as for your writting in general, you obviously have innate skill, keep up the good work! You write so beautiffuly :) As for the messages yo send through your fics, that is a skill and wisdom that all lusst for, few obtain, and fewer are born with...wield it well!

i really liked that stroy. i love how you incorporated the quote into the story and i like how you made neville seem strong even though hes often put down. great story.
This was sooo good, you did a great job of portraying Neville, i really liked it.
thats really good and a little :( but what dident get wasReady to dance, fair lady?" he said jokingly as Ginny returned. this: "Of course, my lord," she shot right back, punching him lightly in the arm as he led her onto the dance floor. i cant emagon him saying that. anyways 9/10
That quote is totally awesome. I showed it to one of my teachers, and she also loved it. I like Neville's point of view, and how the quote applies to him. Excellent!
Oh my goodness, I loved that so much. There was a lump in my throat at the end of it. Thoughtful one-shots are truely the best.
Wow, that was just amazing. The quote really fitted and the whole effect was beautiful.
I found this story via a recommendation on MNFF Forums. Seren, THANK YOU so much for capturing the TRUE Neville Longbottom; if only others would write him like this! I was touched by this amazing story--and how you were able to it in such a short and sweet one-shot. WONDERFUL!
This was a beautiful and touching story. You are a wonderful writer. I was so happy to see a fic with Neville in it, and this one pleased me and really made me smile. Keep up the good work; you're absolutely brilliant.
I agree totally with Bramber. "Courage doesn't always roar." Making your story around this quote was brilliant. :)
In my mind, this is Neville. This is really who he is. really unsure of himself, but strong through it all. Thankyou for putting the Neville I know into words!
"Courage doesn't always roar." I think that that quote drew me to this story. This is an amazing story. As always, I've never thought of this character is this way. You captured him perfectly. I liked how you described his mother and father and his feelings about them, and their feeling about him. The only problem I had with this story was that I wish you had made Mr. Longbottom more prominent in the story. Oh well. Amazing as always. 7/10
I think you’ve captured Neville perfectly here--no less than I would expect from you. Wonderfully written as always. I loved the way you built one upon the original quote a little at the time until you got to the ending--it was a nice touch to add to a nice story. A very good message there about quiet courage, and well illustrated.
wow that was really good, seriously. that's all anyone really needs is faith and hope. :-)
I really like it. It's beautifully written.
I truely was touched
I absolutely love your style of writing. You make the characters your own and their personalities/attributes stand out to the reader (well, to me anyway). I've read a lot of your stories, but I have to say, in my opinion, "The Worthy" and "Quiet Courage" have been your best. Keep up the great work and check out "The Marauders and the Goblin Rebellion", its a story my friend and I are working on (its under the author name, AzkabanSirius). Please continue to write, I love reading your stories. You are very talented.
