Well done, and I was really starting to like Draco. Really, I assume he died, but I liked his character turn around. Bloody brilliant
Author's Response: Thanks! I'm glad to see you found the other stories in the series! Hopefully it was the happy ending you were looking for!
loved it loved it loved it!!! this was great i loved how Voldemort died by being stabbed not by magic. I am also like in LOVE with Draco Malfoy so the fact that he was on the good side in this story was something i really enjoyed.
~kel aka MarauderWannabe
Author's Response: I love Draco too, so I can never write him as a full on bad guy. I hope JKR redeems him, or I will be sad! Thanks for the R &R!
so I am reading it again.... it was as good as last time and I got to enjoy the happy ending again. I have really enjoyed your writing and look forward to reading more.
Author's Response: Aww, this makes me glad. I hope one day soon there will be something new for you to read.
I cried like 10x more and harder..
I must admit I was aprehensive when I read there was a sequal.. I thought it would ruin the ending you made. But it was basically Harry retelling the same year or so they spent apart... and it was better than the first! It's like 4am, but you better believe I'll be reading the rest of your stories when I wake up tomorrow!
Author's Response: I was really worried about that exact thing, at first. I'm so relieved that I managed to keep the magic of the original. I actually do like the second one better, and the next one I write will be in a similar style...but it's a ways off yet. Meanwhile, let me know what you think of my other stories!
oh my gosh!
this has got to be my most favorite fic of all time. you are a really great author. i hope you can write more stories, i like your writing.
Author's Response: Yay! I'm so glad that you liked this story! I've got two others on this site, one of which is a companion to this one. Keep your eyes open; I'm sure there will be more for you to read soon! Thanks for reviewing!!
Really nicely done!
Author's Response: Thanks! I'm glad you liked it!
That was even better than The Wound Dresser...
Not as sad, but still really great. That ending is just beautiful.
Although I did laugh out loud when Ron punched Malfoy, and I totally laughed my head off when I heard about Fred and George's shop's chain reaction explosion. I love the thought of the twins wreaking havoc on the Death Eaters. >:)
...will there be any more?
Author's Response: I am glad that I managed to make you laugh. The story was very tense and it needed a little comic relief, and who better but poor, dear Draco. I enjoy thinking about Fred and George against the DE, but I don't think I'll write on them. Just recently, the idea for a prequel to "Glow" found its way into my head, but its gotten mixed up with other plot bunnies...so it's slow going. But in the end, yes, there will be at least a prequel and a Epilogue of sorts....so that's two more to look forward to!
The best compainion piece ever !!! i love how these stories link. It is an awesome way to end the war and i am so happy that harry and everyone survives (never really draco fan myself sorry people) keep writing!! deffinatly one of my fav authors =]
Author's Response: Daniel is so good to me. I appreciate your reviews and compliments! I am writing a prequel...hopefully it'll be up by month's end...
I first read this one-shot and The Wound Dresser on SIYE but I don't think I left a review. Both this story and TWD are heart-felt and go deep into the thoughts and feelings of the characters, Ginny especially. I voted for your stoyr at least twice for the Dumbledore's Silver Trinket awards at SIYE because it clearly deserves to be honored.
Author's Response: Miss Radcliffe, thank you so much for leaving a review here. I am honored that you voted for my stories, it was such a thrill to just be nominated. I've decided to write a prequel to these two...so hopefully you'll see that here and at SIYE soon!
You have become my favorite author. Both of your stories are wonderful. Please write some more!
Author's Response: Thanks for the review, Jeanv! I'm glad you liked my stories. There is another in the queue that has nothing to do with either of these stories...hopefully you'll see it in a few days. I am honored to be your favorite....
aw! this was the perfect story! i love it
Author's Response: Thanks for the review! I'm glad you enjoyed it...have you read the companion story?
aw! this was the perfect story! i love it
Thnak you for my daily dose of the warm fuzzies. Very well done.
Author's Response: Thank you for reviewing! I'm glad I was able to provide you with some fluffy moments...perhaps my next one will be super fluffy...
Fantastic.I hope that HP7 will be like you story. You have done a great job.
Author's Response: Thanks for the review! I hope that book 7 is like this too....perhaps a little longer though...
Oh, this was beautiful! Is there going to be any more companion stories?
Author's Response: Lady Granger, thanks for the review! I haven't decided yet if I'll continue this as a series, though if I do, I already know whose POV I'll do next...keep reading and maybe you'll see it here.
Wonderful story! I am amazed at how well you were able to knit together so many smaller scenes. You did a wonderful job with the characters; I particularly loved the bond between Ron and Harry, that is something I think some authors tend to skim over. Bringing Malfoy in was intriguing; how did he know about the Horcruxes? I was impressed with the connection you made to Ollivander and Ravenclaw's wand. The final duel was spectacular. Harry destroyed Voldemort but didn't have to use an Unforgivable Curse. Using the sword as a sword mirrors how he destroyed Tom Riddle's basilisk in the Chamber of Secrets so it was a very appropriate end. You write incredibly well, this was a pleasure to read. Keep up the wonderful work! ~Gina :)
Author's Response: Gina, Thank you so much for this lovely review. It really makes my day when people tell me WHY they enjoy my stories. I don't think a lot of authors understand the bond Harry has with his friends, and i am relieved to know I did it justice. And the sword...wow Gina...I never even thought of that, but it works, doesn't it...Thank you again for the review!!
Yes! I desperately wanted to read that conversation between Harry and Ginny! I really enjoyed this story, too. Though I'm not crying now, like I was at the end of the Wound Dresser, it's rather close. I'm not usually such a faucet, really, but your stories are just so amazing...
Keep writing, I swear I'm going to read all the stories you write!
Author's Response: Hey Alisa! You aren't the only one who wanted that conversation, which is where the idea for this story arose. The pressure is on now...I hope I can live up to your expectations with my next story, which I will be posting within the week. Thanks for the review!
One word - BRILLIANT
Author's Response: Thanks lifter! I am glad that you liked it. You should check out the original story, The Wound Dresser, for Ginny's perspective on things...
awwww - that was really brilliant! I don't know how you do it. You take months worth of information, and without really giving detail are able to satisfyingly end the tale. I really loved the wound dresser and this one is just as good!! thank you for adding that little meeting between Ginny and Harry. I kept wondering what happened then. And I haven't read much of your work - but I know your an amazing writer. Keep them coming, and I will read with a flourish!
Author's Response: Thank you, FeverFudge, for that review. I think the ends of my hair are blushing at your praise. After I wrote the original story, readers requested this fic, and begged me to give them more of the meeting at the end...who am I to say no to a fan? There are more stories coming...I just need to get them through the queue.
oh my god that is definitly THE sweetest end to a chapter that i've read......it made me cry i loved it and it was written so well. i love how you wrote the fact that harry ron and hermione have such a strong friendship i think that you should continue to write because you write beautifuly good job!!!!!!!
Author's Response: Thank you for the lovely review, Lucky Girl! It is always so humbling to hear that my words have invoked such powerful emotions in people. I am really pleased that you liked this story! There might be more to this series or I might just submit something completely else. We'll see! Thanks again!
