You'd think Hermione being the brain taht she is would realise it was a trick, I mean Ron's Harry's best friend ergo his best man, He's also Ginny's brother, come on Hermione put the pieces together. And Mrs Weasley's wedding plans are mad, pink gown and over a thousand guests? Why not just immediate family and close friends? If I were getting married I'd have no guests, just me the groom and witnesses. Maybe, if this situation between Ron and Hermione doesn't resolve itself like Harry wants, he and Ginny could elope. I thought Ginny was going to tell Ron that if he didn't want Hermione at the wedding then he wasn't welcome either, just in the heat of anger though.
Oh My God! What a pair of squabbling children Ron and Hermione are. And this Krum agrument again! I can kind of understand Ron feeling slighted, he's finally done something to be really proud of, on his own, and nobody cares. But still, you'd think they knew each other well enough by now, OOO! I could just bang their heads together. I loved the painting of James, Lily and baby Harry, hope someone will explain later about where it came from, for a moment I thought Remus would offer an opinion. Hope Ginny tells Harry about the painting too, he'd love to see it. Wonder why that painting didn't talk like so many of them do?
I loved this first chapter, it's brilliant how you keep slipping in references to old habbits that die hard. Ron's so infuriating isn't he? It's odd that they've grown apart after sharing so much, but I guess it was inevitable, people do. I always liked Bill too, the most easy going of the Weasley children. My favourite part of the chapter though was when Harry and Ginny told Molly and Arthur they were engaged, must be so nice to feel so welcomed.

I actually have eleven (I believe that is accurate) chapters of this fan fiction written, but it has also been in production for nearly four years so I'm going back and making my edits. Thank you for pointing out Ginny's eyes--I missed that entirely! Hope to see you return for future chapters!
