Yea An Update !!!. I was thinking you abandonned this story & I was getting bummed. I love this and really loved this chapter in particular. Perhaps hearing it from his father, Harry will pull his head out of his.... Keep this up it is tremendous.
Author's Response: Oh, don't worry, I will not abandon this story, even if it takes me two more years to write it! Hopefully it won't. Even if I were going to stop working on it, its got so many fans that I'd definitely let everyone know about it first. But anyway, I'm really really glad you like it so much! And I'm hoping Harry will get some sense knocked into him too ;-)

Author's Response: Just because I started it before DH doesn't mean I can't include elements of it. Besides, the Snitch thing has been true throughout the books; we just didn't know it. Same thing with Bathilda Bagshot; she wrote Harry's schoolbooks from SS. We just didn't know she lived in Godric's Hollow. So there :-P Anyway, I'm really glad you like it, and I hope you enjoy the rest of it!

I am so sorry it took me this long to come and read your new chapter. I’ve been writing almost constantly. I decided to take a break and read a few of my favorites that have updated recently.
Harry following in his footsteps seems a bit prophetic if you ask me. There are so many things Harry can say and then realize he can’t explain them. The Hogsmeade ban being one of them. How can he explain to his dad that he was banned because his father’s best friend broke out of Azkaban and everyone thought he was going to try to kill Harry? I can’t wait to see how you explain it, or get him out of explaining it.
Having Harry worried about Ginny changing his nappies is just too funny. I would love her to be able to embarrass him no end when they do go back.
Excellent work with Bathilda and James. It seems he would be just like that when he was getting help from a female, no matter her age.
The locket sounds beautiful, and James is the typical man thinking he could go around his wife and get her exactly what she wanted without her knowing. Harry is a bit more forceful about Ginny not being his girlfriend, but when James kept prattling on, it seems like it was necessary.
James giving him the same advice others have is absolutely perfect. I really do think Harry should listen to his father’s advice. However, since you are the one writing this, I will just have to wait and see what you do with them.
The snitch idea is great. And I agree with Harry, when it is decorated too much, it ceases being a snitch and becomes decoration. I do like that he chose the Lover’s Snitch, and the description you gave it. I think she will love it.
Now I wonder if Harry will wind up hexing his two best friends before they can explain why they are there.

The Lover’s Snitch. The band of Celtic knot work around the center of the Snitch symbolizes everlasting commitment and love. The knots never end, and they circle the Snitch completely, only breaking when the Snitch is opened to place an item of great value to the receiver of the Snitch.
