Chapter: Leaving

I agree with your disclaimer. No-one is better than Draco Malfoy, but this story just makes him seem evil. He's not evil, he's mean, confused, loving, caring, and much better then that Potter bloke.

How the hell can you write so good?!
Its hard to write stuff like this and make it realistick. You must lnow a lot about rape and abuse.
But it's good.

I liked this story alot but it makes Hermione into a monster that she is not. It was very well written and interesting, an awesome plot but it gave a bad and false impression of Hermione.

Wow, this story was so good! I usually dont like reading fan fics with more than 2 chapters but i just couldn't stop. The characters and the way they reacted in these situations were very believeable. This is the first dark fanfic i've read as i usually like happy endings but this had a better plot than any of those and it would have been insane for this story to end happily. Well done!

All in all, I loved it! The grammar errors were a bit of a turn off, and in a place or two (maybe) I thought that you might have been laying it on a bit thick, but the storyline and depth was amazing.

Thanks for writing, and whatever you do, don't stop!

Chapter: Prologue

This is quite a serious review, not at all like my normally bubbly self because this is not the normally bubbly story I read.

At first I was apprehensive about reading this fan fiction because I am a more of a fluff story reader but if I want writing to be my career I need to experience all kinds of stories not just the ones that have happy endings because not all stories have one. This story pushed emotions and the extreme topic of rape to an earth shattering high. I am sad to report that many times people don't fully realize bad things happen in the world until it happens to them: Rape, Murder, Abduction, Flooding, Tornadoes, Hurricanes, Family Disputes and so on. But this story really puts the reader into perspective, really makes someone who reads it understand and sympathize. The news carries such sad stories these days about dreadful crimes and maybe if people could look into each other’s hearts more there would be less of that. This story, the way you wrote it, is like ice water thrown over someone when they're sleeping. It's easy to feel for Hermione and the utter despair she was in but it also gives insight into the violator, Draco. I, as a reader, was dead set on despising Draco in this story at the beginning but then I felt less and less hatred, though I still felt a whole bunch of it, and instead began to pity him. Villains don't just shoot out of their mothers as monsters; they were molded that way by events in their life, as are victims. Your story shows both sides of the track and in such a way that, despite rape being disgusting in itself, that I, the reader, felt more of a heart wrenching sadness for those involved. You gave humanity and life to characters that don't truly exist and made me feel sad for what happened in the story even though I knew it hadn't really happened. Hermione, though she despised Draco with her very being, did the only thing she could to attack Draco back and that was to make him more addicted to her. She didn’t love him, she never did nor could, but convincing Draco she needed him with her was absolute torture to him. He needed her and this developed into a rage when he realized it could never be so this love turned into pain. Draco hurting her wanted her to hurt him tenfold, and so the never ending cycle of hatred begins until those involved are utterly consumed by it as if burned alive. Sadly, this cycle continues even today in the form of people beating up other people, of murders, of racism, or rape, of abduction, of war, and prejudice. This story, though the main topic is rape, has emotions and feelings that are, in a sense, the basics of all crime. It takes a wonderful, strong writer to do something of this extreme level and still touch my heart through the horrid events of the rape. Sure, parts of it were graphic and I felt terrible I was even reading something so intense yet that’s how things are in the real world too. People do vile, horrid, and terrible things to each other than many of us can’t even imagine so why should a story that’s so serious tone that down so it isn’t real anymore? Rape is real, therefore, disgusting and hard to comprehend. That is exactly what I got from reading this story.
I hope that future readers will not follow their first instincts as I almost did and not read the story out of fear or disgust of the idea of a story about a girl being raped night after night. Because we can't just shut our eyes to what we find disturbing, because we can't turn away from terrible crimes if they make us sick to our stomach, because we can't, nor shouldn't, ignore those who are suffering if it doesn’t affect us directly. Thank you, Queen of Serpents, for opening peoples' eyes and not closing your own. Well done.

I have to say, that was unlike anything i have ever read. That being said- i loved it. Amazing talent you have. Truley amazing. The insight you give into the minds of both of them is incredibly accurate - espesially in the situation they are in. The story is extremeley complicated, and it seems like no one could pull that off, but you did extremely well. I just cant get over the insight you give to the emotional/mental aspect of the characters. You have an amazing talent, and if this story didnt broden anyones horizons then i don't know what will. It was a pleasure to read, no matter what anyone says, because it isn't sick or disgusting- its the truth. xoxox wheezysgirl77
