Awww......... Anything that has anything to do with A Tale Of Two Matchmakers goes on my fave list!
Author's Response: Thank you so much! I was a little bummed that the mods changed the rules so only stories updated since July 09 could be nominated for the 2010 QQs (AToTM won't have the chance to be fourth time lucky, heh), and you've cheered me right up. :)
That was delightful and kind of unexpected. I knew it was about Draco and Ginny but I forgot at first:) I loved the descriptions of all of the sleeping people. Narcissa was pretty funny. I'm so fickle--I can drop thinking about Harry and Ginny forever and move on to Ginny and someone else. I guess that has to do with something you said a long time ago--make the reader believe. I'm embarrassed to admit this but my nephew and I went to see New Moon for the fourth and final time last night. In my defense, he wanted to go and I couldn't disappoint. There weren't that many people there and my nephew said it was nice to be able to watch it without all of the Native "chicks" in the theatre jumping up and whistling at Jacob. At that point I told him that it was fine with me--I was certainly liberal enough--if he wanted to jump up and whistle at Jacob too. Don't let me stop him:P He didn't quite know what to think about that:D This was a wonderful holiday story. I haven't given up on Remus' journal, I just wanted to read something else right now.
Remus definitely isn't jolly. Wistful and melancholy is more like it, unless he's drunk on Firewhisky or love, :D. Whatever you want to read makes my day merry and bright! I don't think you've read Matchmakers, my one and only epic fic, that this story's inspired by, so I'm grateful you gave the AU pairing a shot!
Can't blame a boy getting tetchy about girls whistling. Actors like Taylor who work out insanely to get those abs have to be as intimidating to regular guys as airbrushed models and surgically enhanced actresses are to a lot of women. It's good for him, though, really. He'll be a more understanding boyfriend now that he's experienced reverse objectification! :D
I can never get enough of Draco/Ginny, not really, and I like reading all of your fics. So I'm glad that, frequently, the two combine. :) I always love a good Christmas make-out session, anyway.
Author's Response: Kisses put the "merry" in Merry Christmas! :)
i love this! its amazing!
Author's Response: Thank you! It wouldn't be a very merry Christmas if they didn't get to see each other, so I'm happy you loved it too!
well, even though its only the first day in september, this made me call up my boyfriend on labor day and tell him what i wanted 4 xmas! (tho he'll probably forget!)
Author's Response: That's a luv-er-ly compliment! I hope you get what you want...and feel free to remind him to make sure of it! :D
I loved this, I've read the long fic into which this so nicely slots too. The descriptions of the different family members in varying stages of sleep were very amusing, I particularly enjoyed Narcissa's brief appearance. Keep it up.
Author's Response: I have a Lucius/Narcissa one shot called White Wedding that's a very different take on her, more cool and clever, less drunken, heh, but I'll always be fond of tart-tongued, liquid-lunching 'Cissy' :D.
you know i love your ginny /draco fics
Author's Response: I'm very grateful you do! Thank you! ^_^
wow... this was the most happy, uplifting, sweet story i've read in ages!! **runs off to kericihi's profile to read all the other stories =D **
Author's Response: Your review has me happy and uplifted! Thank you! ^_^
Good and sweet. if you know what I mean/
Author's Response: As opposed to the kind that rots your teeth and/or brain? :D Thank you!
Thanks for the ficlet fluffcicle! I love Draco/Ginny and Matchmakers, but this was so cute! Christmas morning spent in Daddy's workshop. Yay for us crazy D/G shippers!
Author's Response: I prefer to think D/G shippers are like the Phantom of the Opera, saying Let your mind start a journey through a strange, new world...Leave all thoughts of the (canon) you knew before...Let your soul take you where you long to be... :)
I can't believe I never came across this fic before. Ok, I've never even considered reading a G/D story before, but I loved this, and I'll make sure to read your other stories too, because this was too great :D
Author's Response: Thank you for reading this when you don't ship D/G! If you read the story this was inspired by, A Tale of Two Matchmakers I promise you'll add their flag to the others you fly! :D
Oh, and I meant 'come *from* different worlds', of course. Not come 'form'. *sheesh* you think you proofread and then...
Author's Response: I only proofread fics, lol, so I make mistakes in reviews and replies all the time. I take it as a compliment that your eloquence ran away with your typing! :)
Okay, okay. I'm breaking down and actually not just reading this time, but reviewing as well! Loved the storming the castle and fighting 5 dragons and a jackass friend line! Funny. Also, I enjoyed their jibes about each other's houses. Shows the acknowledgement that they come form different worlds, but at the same time underlines their acceptance of that difference. Once again, though, I loved something as much as the story - this time the A/N. One question - why was Harry frowning as he dreamt about girls? Because he knows, subconsciously that 'his' girl is not his?
Author's Response: Yay for you giving the gift of a review, and he's frowning because subconsciously he knows that none of the girls he dreamt of will be his! (at least in this dimension of the Potterverse)
that was a really sweet chapter/story. It's so nice to see how they both think the same things. they are really perfect for eachother.
Author's Response: If only Jo thought the same way! Sigh. Harry and Ginny are too Lily and James to me. Ginny deserves to be more and so does Draco!
wow, left me in shivers. Draco's soooo fine and with Christmas, all the best together!
Author's Response: Thank you! He's better than a vision of sugarplums, isn't he? :D
Oh how I have missed these randy two!
Once again brill!
I was looking at your page and then I realised I hadn't read any other match macker stories! Well apart from dealing with Dragons.
This has made me all christmasy!
Then again it is November so it is pretty soon.
And please do write lots more stories!
I LOVE THEM ALL SO MUCH!
you are ze best!
Author's Response: Yay for you being Christmasy and wanting to read stories! You've made me merry and bright!
very well written-loved it! :)
Author's Response: Thank you very much! :)
i forgot: you should have worked this into a Tale of Two Matchmakers. I would have found it faster that way. this is really great...
Author's Response: I originally wrote it for another writer's short story compilation fic on another site, but later thought with editing it would make a good outtake. I'm glad you agree! :)
this is great... the draco/ginny combination appeals to me soo much more than draco/hermione. i recently read a draco/hermione fic and it was really weird... unbalanced... but this is great. thanks for writing it!
Author's Response: Thank you! I can't help but think Draco and Ginny are better suited, personality wise, with families that are typical of star-crossed lovers! :D
Awwww, I really mean it now. You are soooo gooodddd.Wow. This is sweet. I love it ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥
***** its the best story, all the Tales of Two MatchMakers stories are the best even the one shots from them
Author's Response: You had me with the ♥'s. :) Thank you so much for being such a wonderful, sensitive soul that appreciates romance!
